Mayelle Guesthouse — Hotel in Agonda

This place is phenomenal! First of, what a beautiful place with the balconies overlooking a small forest with lots of monkeys in it. Everything is very clear, the rooms are big and bathrooms nice. ||||The location is also perfect. 3 minutes to the beach and you actually hear the sea from the balcony. Takes ca 2 minutes to get to the main street, which is convenient farther away from the noise of central Agonda. ||||The owners Maria and Joaquim are wonderful, such beautiful people. They will always do everything to help and make one's stay really good. In addition to that, a permanent restaurant on site will soon be ready. ||||I'll definitely go...

Great location. Each room is with its own balcony, each balcony has a neighbouring balcony next door. Hot shower available. They allow pets so we could have 3 of our cats around. There are cute farm animals around (pigs) and from the West side balconies you can sometimes see baboons on the treetops. (We tried to befriend with food a mama baboon with her baby, but she wasn't keen!) Sadly the WiFi is terrible in this spot and no mobile signal, else would have given 4 stars. We booked this stay through booking.com and were on the road in the midnight as this person given out the rooms to someone else with higher price on a busy day. Booked this 2 days back, called and confirmed with the home stay Owner. Group of 8 people coming from Bangalore and struck without any accommodation in the midnight. No sorry from the owner and he stood as if he is innocent. He agreed that he given out the rooms to others without informing booking.com. No curtecy to at least call us and tell that rooms are...
