A Flavorful Experience at Fatima Bar & Restaurant
When it comes to dining out, there are a few essentials that every food lover looks for: delicious food, a welcoming atmosphere, and attentive service. My experiences at Fatima Bar & Restaurant, which I had the pleasure of visiting three times, have proven that this establishment ticks all the boxes—and then some.
A Culinary Journey
On our first two visits, we enjoyed dinner and were blown away by the diverse menu that Fatima Bar & Restaurant offers. Each dish we ordered was bursting with flavor, making it hard to choose a favorite.
Crispy Chicken: This dish was the perfect start to our culinary journey. The exterior was delightfully crunchy, while the juicy meat inside added that satisfying contrast.
Chicken Caffreal: A traditional Goan dish with a spicy twist, this was packed with an array of aromatic spices that made every bite a delightful experience.
Chapati: Soft and fresh, the chapati served as an excellent companion to our main dishes, perfect for scooping up rich gravies.
Burnt Garlic Fried Rice: An unconventional yet intriguing option, this flavorful fried rice was a fragrant addition to our meal, with every grain glistening and packed with taste.
Crab Fry: For seafood lovers, this dish is a must-try. The crab was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, ensuring that crab lovers rejoice with every bite.
Chicken Kadai: With a robust and spicy profile, this dish was a hit. The tender chicken and a medley of bell peppers left us wanting more.
Prawns Biryani: Our taste buds rejoiced with this fragrant biryani. The prawns were succulent, and the spices melded beautifully, creating a symphony of flavors.
Greek Souvlaki: A refreshing change on the menu, the souvlaki was grilled to perfection, served with fresh vegetables and a side of tzatziki. It brought a taste of the Mediterranean to our table.
A Fantastic Breakfast
Our third visit was for breakfast, and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere was as lively as ever, with the enticing aroma of freshly brewed coffee floating through the air. Although we tried different dishes this time, the quality and taste remained consistently high, further solidifying Fatima Bar & Restaurant’s reputation.
Conclusion
Every meal we had at Fatima Bar & Restaurant was nothing short of amazing. From the quality of the ingredients to the skill in preparation, the flavors were consistently exceptional. The staff were attentive and friendly, adding to the overall welcoming vibe of the place.
Whether you're looking for a hearty dinner or a cozy breakfast spot, I cannot recommend Fatima Bar & Restaurant enough. With a menu brimming with irresistible options, your taste buds will thank you for the delightful experience. I will undoubtedly be returning for more flavorful adventures...
Read moreHorrible and Unpleasant experience at Fatimas Guest House - I travelled with my wife and 2 year old son for 5 days and was truly disappointed with my stay and experience here. The rooms were dirty and I had to chase the staff for cleaning, in my 5 days of stay the staff cleaned the room only once. They don't even provide complimentary water to their guest.
On the day of the checkout, staff accidentally damaged my car by keeping some object on it which caused many deep scratches on my car, the owners and staff at first refused to accept their mistake and later were not ready to fully compensate for scratches. I nicely told them several times, I don't need any money just wanted my car to be fixed and whatever is the expense just pay for that or you yourself get it fixed.
When I was calmly discussing this, they were first ignoring us and made us wait for no reason for 2 hours, when I started losing my cool due to waiting for so long, they started using local language like "Tu" and "Tereko" and tried to charge us extra for another day as checkout time had passed as per them. Even when they knew, we were waiting for them to resolve the issue.....what Dadagiri is this?.
They even went to the extent to call the police and refused to pay the entire amount for damages. They behaved cheaply by trying to charge us extra for one full day for 1 hour delay in checkout caused due to this issue.
The owner repeatedly kept on saying "Jo de raha hu lele, nahin to ek Chavani bhi nahi milegi".
As if he was doing any favour by paying for his own staffs mistake. They also tried to show their authority by ganging up on my family.
I would definitely advise travellers a word of caution. Visit at your own risk!. I don't think, any place would treat their guests/ customers in this manner, especially when it's their own fault.
They are just interested in making money and dont care about guests. I would recommend people to pay more and stay at a better place, where the owners and staff are more accountable to guests and their experience.
I regret choosing to stay...
Read moreWent to Goa in April for vacation and missed reviewing one of the best restaurants and bars on Agonda Beach. It serves a hell of a lot of options in terms of cuisines and also in drinks. We went there firstly to have a quick breakfast. We ordered a Stuffed Aloo Paratha cool and a lemon mint iced tea. Paratha was served with a Curd bowl in the centre and a mixed veg pickle. Paratha was so good in taste and stuffed really well. Iced tea was also cool and refreshing. Next time we went for our dinner. We ordered one cocktail "Tequila sunrise" and a pint of beer. For appetizers, I ordered Paneer Tikka and Butter garlic Prawns. Our order came so fast all because of their serving staff which are quick. The cocktail was so good, a bit tangy, bitter and sweeter notes. Our starters were also tasty which we really enjoyed. After having the drinks and starters, we only ordered Burnt garlic fried rice for our main course which came in good quantity. Overall our experience was so good and I really recommend this place to each and every one who visits agonda to go for at least one of your meals. Good ambience, Clean and hygienic place. Highly...
