Absolutely terrible experience - to begin with, the hotel falsely advertised that they were under 1km to the taj when the reality is that it closer to 3km and not walkable as there is a highway that you need to use to get to the Taj. Autos are not available outside the hotel. The hotel is also right next to a garbage dump and sewer which they conveniently do not mention in any listing. You can get a great view of the garbage dump if you stay in any of the corner rooms.
The rooms are unclean and unsanitary - bed stains on the bed, tap is leaking and air conditioning is barely functioning. Please se pictures of bed stains and bathroom leaks attached. They charge extra for heater in the room which is not mentioned anywhere. Hot water is only available in the mornings. The owner is absolutely terrible and very rude, even to female guests. AS A FEMALE TRAVELER I DID NOT FEEL SAFE STAYING HERE. The common area bathroom is disgusting and can smell it inside the restaurant. The food in restaurant is also quite bad.
Overall, a horrible experience. Would highly recommend going to a different hotel - Agra has plenty of options which have better location, services...
Read moreWarning: Stay is Good, but Night Staff Is a Serious Problem
The property itself is decent and well-maintained, but there is a serious issue with the night receptionist named Narender, who works from 10 PM to 10 AM. I strongly advise anyone booking this place to avoid dealing with him if possible.
This individual is extremely rude, aggressive, and completely unprofessional. He not only speaks to guests in a humiliating and demeaning way, but also disrespects people even outside the property, including on public roads near the hotel. When I politely asked him to safeguard my luggage for a short time, his response was shockingly abusive.
Even more alarming: items went missing from the room during his shift, which raises serious concerns about theft and safety. I am not the only one who’s experienced this, and management seems either unaware or unwilling to take action.
It’s a real shame because the property has potential—but as long as Narender is on staff, it is not a safe or welcoming environment, especially during the night shift. I strongly urge management to take this matter seriously and future guests to...
Read moreI had one of the worst experiences at your hotel. Despite having a confirmed booking, I was not allowed to check in just because I presented a local ID. This policy was never clearly mentioned at the time of booking, and it was shocking to be denied a room after traveling and arriving at your property.
What made the situation even worse was the behavior of the hotel staff. Instead of handling the matter politely or trying to help in any way, they were extremely rude and disrespectful. Their attitude was unprofessional and insulting, which added unnecessary stress to the whole situation.
To top it all off, I was not even given a refund, even though I was not allowed to stay. This is completely unfair and unacceptable. If you have a no-local ID policy, it should be made very clear while booking—not after the guest arrives.
I hope the hotel management takes this seriously and trains its staff to behave better with customers. No one deserves to be treated like this. I also expect a refund for the booking, as the service was denied through no fault of mine.
Highly disappointed and would never recommend this...
