I’m sorry to say we did not have a great stay at the Radisson Agra. The hotel has a strange smell, antiseptic and cigarettes, cut through with very strong chemical air fresheners. The common spaces were not clean and very tired, think peeling paint and ‘patch up’ plastering. The corridors didn’t look like they had seen a hoover in weeks. |Luckily we were only staying for one night but honestly I cannot understand how this hotel has 5* let alone all these glowing reviews. |When we arrived at the hotel we were told that they only way to get something to eat was to order it through room service we tried calling for about 15 minutes at which point I just went to the lobby and waited another 15 minutes to speak to someone. When the food finally came it was fine, nothing special but did the job, however the crockery was filthy. Crusted food from previous uses stuck to the bottom of the plates and in between forks. The food itself was okay, however my boyfriend was served chicken despite ordering vegetarian food at dinner - the staff did apologise for this. ||We both got a decent nights sleep, bed was comfy and large - ultimately this is what we were there for, 1 nights sleep to see the Taj Mahal the next day. The hotel was also in a good location about a 15 minute drive to the Taj Mahal.||Our shower did not drain properly meaning you had to intermittently turn it off to ensure you weren’t standing in pooling water. The soaps and toiletries given were extremely basic, you would find better in a travelodge in the UK. There was a repeated banging sound from above the toilet ceiling, it sounded like a small animal was trapped up there or perhaps just an issue with the plumbing? ||My main issue is with the attitude of some of the staff, generally I found people to be helpful however during check in staff spoke directly to my boyfriend asking to confirm ‘her’ (my) details despite it clearly having my name on the booking and me standing right next to him. Perhaps a culture clash but also I had made the booking so I was the customer and would have expected to be addressed directly. ||Upon checkout I was asked to complete a feedback form on which I ticked that I would not recommend the hotel (because I wouldn’t for the reasons mentioned above) - I was then followed by multiple hotel staff and questioned why? I said that the hotel was pretty tired, unclean and mentioned the food issues. One man insisted that the hotel was hoovered daily (which it clearly wasn’t). They did however apologise for the other issues.||Honestly for one nights stay to see the Taj Mahal it does the job but I hope it would be possible to find better in Agra from a chain as large as the Radisson. If you are use to Western 5* hotels then expect this to be more of a ...
Read moreDear Radisson Hotels Management,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my profound disappointment with the service I encountered during my recent attempt to confirm a reservation at the Radisson Hotel Agra. As a loyal Radisson Rewards member who frequently visits Agra for business, I had high expectations for my stay, but my experience has compelled me to share my concerns.
Last night, I made a reservation at your Agra property. However, today, while en route to the hotel, I noticed that my card had not been debited. Out of curiosity and concern, I attempted to confirm my booking directly with the hotel. Unfortunately, this simple task turned into a frustrating ordeal. I called multiple times, and each time, my call was abruptly disconnected without any assistance. This lack of professionalism is shocking for a hotel that claims to uphold five-star standards.
I have stayed in several three-star hotels during my business trips to Agra, and I can confidently say that their service far exceeds what I experienced with your team. The inability of your staff to respond effectively to inquiries is not only disappointing but also unacceptable for a brand like Radisson. I felt as though my concerns were dismissed, as if I were not a valued guest.
Given my repeated frustrations, I am compelled to reconsider my choice of accommodation in the future. It is essential for the management team to address the issues within the reservation and reception staff. Effective communication and customer service are paramount, and it is clear that improvements are needed. I can't help but wonder how this property has earned its five-star status. I assure you, this will be my last choice in accommodation on my future visits.
Thank you for providing me with such a memorable experience, one that I will be sure to share with my fellow travelers.
I hope my feedback will be taken seriously, and that steps will be implemented to enhance the guest experience at Radisson Hotel Agra.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely, Ribaal Punjabi

Read moreWe got married here, and it was the best decision and just the right place for us. The venue, the food, the rooms, the cleaning, the location, hospitality of the entire staff made our special day all the more special. While everyone at the hotel was so warm and helpful and gave us warm memories, would like to call out few names- Mr.Vijay was always there to help with rooms/last minute changes/quick check ins or any queries, he was very helpful Mr.Kartar gave us a very good experience wherever FnB was concerned Mr.Anurag/Miss Jannat at the reception with all their help made us feel so welcomed and at home, it did not for one second feel like we are away from home. All the bell boys were so warm and helpful, carrying all our luggage as if they were carrying our worries away. The valets were also very kind and helpful at all hours. The person who was our POC from the day we visited Radisson, Agra for the first time exploring to book it for our wedding was Ms.Sharan - What a lady! Excelling at her job! I call her a magician! Any minute, anything was needed while we were there or since the time we decided on this venue, she was there throughout like a member of the family. She helped me with everything like a sister, while I was having my high and low moments being the bride and the organiser of the event. She was one call away, no matter the hour of the day. Be it giving us best rates, extra rooms, referring the best decoration vendor - Deepak Chauhan and company; she was very helpful, joyful, accomodating, and never waivering. Always greeting us in the lobby with a smile on, and saying "HoJaega, kyun nahi hoga?" in her never giving up attitude. She is an asset to the hotel and the hospitality industry, and one of those people who are going to go big in their careers because of their sheer love for the job. Forever grateful for the memories I and my families made their, Radisson in now second sasural to me. Wishing the hotel, the staff, Sharan ji, Deepak ji, the bell boys, the valets, the guards and everyone all the success in life, all of theme made our memories all the...
