I cannot speak more highly about the staff at this hotel. They go over and above to help their guests and are always very polite and smiley. For example, we had a bus to take at 8.30am on the day of checkout, and at 8am we were settling the food bill. We didn't have enough Indian rupees to pay so they let us use a 5 pound note which they really didn't have to. ||||The food here is pretty good too, but I would advise to get the indian not continental (unless you are getting porridge). The pancakes were horrendous, yet the paneer butter masala was delicious, so just opt for the safer options :) would also recommend the masala chai with half sugar at night. It was lovely and gingery. ||||The rooms are pretty clean but not impeccable (unsurprised for the amount we were paying). The blankets are a bit tatty, and the pillows are like rocks but hey, can't complain for 1300 for two nights. There is hot water too, but better to shower early so you can be assured your shower is hot...
Read morePositive: Room was reserved without any prior payment. Very nice garden area. All rooms are garden facing. Ideal for large family, who want adjecent rooms. All type of rooms are available, ranging from rs 500 to 1500. Personally booked 1500 super delux room. Good spacoius room with basic ammenities. In house food is better in quality and cheaper than outside. Close to Agra fort and Taj Mahal. Hotel management can adjust to halfday tariff, if required.
Negative: Only snacks are provided in the rooms. Lunch and dinner is served in garden area only. Lunch in the garden area is hot during day time as there is no fan arrangment. During night for dinner , the garden has mosquitoes. Hard matress is provided in the rooms. After a long day's tour, this matress will add on to your back aches.
Tips: Market area is not nearby. No proper restaurants nearby. Hiring hotel vehicles for sightseeing is costlier. Recommended to make own arrangments...

For the price I can't particularly complain however, first room that I was shown had a leaking toilet and thus a soaked bathroom floor. Unfortunately the second room that we were placed in has no heating. No air conditioning. No lights, no working TV.
However, I did only pay £8 and that is a good deal If you came here in the summer. This is probably perfect, but if you're here in January, read on
I am lying here in my clothes and a scarf. It is foggy outside and the weather, despite what Google says is probably close to 4°. C. The room has a 2' hole in the door. The temperature in the room is 4°C. Despite my best efforts, the temperature in my bed is 4°C. Let us see if I'm alive in the morning to finish this review
We are huddling for warmth
