This is the place to visit if you're considering buying marble inlay art that is local to Agra. They claim to be the ones who started this business in Agra town so you know that they're someone whom you can rely on. They walk you through then process of how the inlay work is done on the marble block. They have real artists inside shop who are doing the actual work unlike in other shops where they have a dummy artist just for show. Their collection is impeccable. They showcase some artwork that should actually be part of a museum. Of course that's not for sale. But what they sell is excuisite. The minute details like the stem of a leaf in the inlay artwork is so intricate that reveals expertise of their artists who are with them for generations over. If you ask them, they will show you samples of difference in their work and others in town. The salesman is very polite and understands your tastes quickly and shows you what you may like. Prices are reasonable. Whether you want to carry the marble piece with you or you want them to ship it, they can do it for you. We carried our purchase with us on flight in carry on. They packed it well so we had no issues during our flight. Security may ask during security check in but you can tell them its a marble block with artist work and they will allow it. So nothing to worry about if you're carrying it with you. All in all we are very satisfied with the purchase and I would highly recommend if you're considering supporting this art for that's...

The highlight of our shopping experience in Agra. Kailash ji was an excellent host and sales executive to deal with. He welcomed us in the shop and did an informative demo of the artwork. We were absolutely floored by the beautiful artwork displayed in the gallery.

The staff are really friendly and take the time to show you different objects based on your taste and budget. We found two beautiful table tops.

Although the prices can seem expensive at first, it was evident from visiting some other shops that the artistry and authenticity of the pieces at Subhash emporium were unmatched. When in India, it is normal to negotiate a little. The staff were very cordial at all times and we ultimately arrived at a price that worked for us. Kailash ji was kind enough to deliver them to our hotel as well so we could continue sightseeing for the day. Thank you!

I would highly recommend Subhash emporium for marble inlay work, when visiting Agra.

Even if you don’t wish to buy anything, to set eyes on the beautiful pieces is a treat in itself. Really honest and...

Came to the best place to get Agra marble work. It is expensive but you will get the best from here. All the staff are friendly and very helpful. If you want a marble product there are different price ranges and if the best quality of Indian craftsmanship is what you are looking for it's only here. You can tell the staff have a real passion on their work running as a family business. Unlike other places in Agra they never paid commission to guides in Agra. I was pushed my my guide to see a different shop and they just pushed me hard to buy their low quality product. There is NO pressure selling here you just browse and buy if you like it. It is hard to say why anyone wouldn't buy something from here.

Subhash Emporium is definitely THE place to learn about, buy, and see absolutely stunning too-quality marble pieces! Drivers will try very hard to take you to other shops where they earn a commission, but don’t waste your time unless you’re looking for cheap souvenirs—even then, don’t bother. You can buy cheap imitations at home for less. But if you want to see and own an example of this Agra craft, the same kind you’ll see at the Taj Mahal, come here. I am a gemologist and jeweler, so I know what I’m talking about. You’ll see the work being done, so you understand why it is so precious. They’re not pushy—Kailash Dubey was a joy to work with! I can’t recommend highly enough!
