Uday Residency — Hotel in Andhra Pradesh

I have been a regular visitor of Mantralayam almost 20 years now. Due to the covid situation this time I was exploring hotels for stay those are clean and hygienic. Explored many options on various portals like go-bibo and similar websites, however thought let’s reach Mantralayam and explored as didn’t want to take chance being with family. Explored a lot of hotels including the one which is a 3 star facility… however could not finalise as the aura and/ or the staff of the hotel we were enquiring was not at all convincing including the pricing…Finally saw a hoarding by name Udaya residency … Thought… let’s give a look and finalise…Manoj was the one from the hotel who showed us the room…and trust me the rooms are so much detailed and the aura was also good… best part is it’s located at a 5 mins distance from the mutt. The staff including the owner are down to earth. Turn around time for any request is very less and above all they are honest , transparent and supportive. As an ardent devotee of Raghavendra Swami I always believed that he take care of his devotees… this was one example that we got the best stay, with all the facilities located within 300 meters of the hotel including the mutt. I stayed in Uday Residency for all 3 days during 2023 Aradhana Mahotsava. This is situated very close to the Raghavendra Swamy Mutt (Temple); walkable distance.

Initially, I had booked in another nearby lodge, who basically did not keep up the promise and cancelled my booking and caused inconvenience.

However, on reaching out to Uday Residency, Mr. Mallesh ensured that the room was booked in advance and he also mentioned the checkin and checkout timings very clearly in the receipt (as per my convenience), which is really appreciable.

The room was very clean, spacious enough for 2 adults and 1 kid. Also, the toilet and bathroom were very neat, with all the taps and spray in proper working condition.

There is lift facility available, and also water dispensers are kept in each floor. AC and hot water available too.

The stay was very pleasant and...

Really pathetic service..They charged 3k for AC room and they did not provided AC and have not refund the money..we stayed there from morning 8 to evening 8..In this we stayed at hotel for hardly 4 hours and remaining hours we were in temple...In that 4 hour only 1 hour we got AC and remaining hours AC was not working, when I complained the personnel said he will refund 500rs but during check out he gave very silly reason and didn't return money...I really don't know how this people cheat other's at holy place,it's difficult for us earn money but this people earn easily in illegal way without anyone's fear...I believe in Raghavendra swamy he will definitely punish these money...
