Hotel Prince B — Hotel in Assam

It is the worst hotel in this world. The behavior of the staff and receipnist was very poor. Actually I checked in on this hotel at 4pm on 12th April, 2019 and on the next day I went to Kamakhya temple for darshan in the morning at 4am then I was on the queue in the Kamakhya temple, the hotel manager called me at 12 noon and threatened me to leave room ASAP otherwise he will charger rs 2000 or he will put my luggage and equipments outside the hotel. He was calling and threatening me continosly as I was in temple on that time, then I told him to evacuate one of my room as I booked 2 rooms from 12th April to 13th April. But still he was threatening me to pay more money. Then I told him that I will come by 5pm and I will leave one of the remaining room soon because I will have to leave for shillong on the same day. I reached at 5:30pm in the hotel and I checked out all the rooms but hotel manager was threatening me to pay for both of the room otherwise he will not let me to go to shillong. I told him that okay I will make the booking of 1 room because I told him to evacuate one room at 12 noon but he was denying because he needs 2000rs in vain. Then after too many requests to the hotel manager, I will have to do the booking for 1 room from 13th April to 14th April but I left the hotel at 6pm, 13th April, 2019. All I want to say that the behavior of the staff was very rude and poor. The Manager of this hotel prince b treats their coustmer as a slave. One more thing I would like to add that I did booking from goibibo for both the days(for 1 day an amount of 800rs has gone in vain because I didn't stay there even for a single minute). I would recommend others not to go in this hotel because the behavior of staffs of this hotel is the worst. I booked hotel in shillong and imphal too on 13th April and 15th April, the Manager of the hotel of shillong and imphal was awesome and fine, I gave 100rs to each of the staffs of the hotel in shillong and imphal because of their good behavior and talk as a tip. Money is not all the things that matter, the perception and the image of the person matters a lot, so it doesn't matter that hotel prince b charged 800rs illegally from me, only thing that matter a lot is threatening, bad language, poor service and rude behavior of the...

Very good. Manager was very calm and never bothered to keep my luggage in store room since I returned from kamakhya temple late hours than check out hours. Morning before leaving room I had discussed with manager 7.30 am I'm going to kamakhya I will give key with you if I m late because it's last day of dasara on 24th October you pl keep my Iuggages in store room. By this I can judge a person. After returning I had no room to stay and waiting . Since I had to book cab. Visarjana time so all vehicles stopped by traffic policemen in the areas. So was just observing how he responds to guests. He showed very good hospitality to all the guests. I said him go for lunch at 2.15 pm. Till 3.15 pm he was waiting for the guest with his smiling face. saying a guest is reaching within few minutes they have called by 2 pm. Really dedicated person. Usually who sits in reception will not so calm everywhere. I got my cab by 3.15 . But only thing I observed is an assistant room boy was expecting bribe from me. I didn't give because I'm vigilant central govt employee so follow don't pay bribe / don't receive bribe rule as per central vigilance department. So when my cab reached the gate room boy didn't help me to keep the heavy suitcase inside cab I have requested three times, it's heavy pl help he didn't show humanity. Because my weight is 41kilo being women I was expecting him to show humanity to keep the bag inside cab. When said cab driver intially he said that hotel assistant is standing there you ask him. We reached this hotel at 7 PM and had a booking for budget double room. We were not expecting something out of the box but didn’t liked the room as it was quite uncomfortable . We asked the receptionist if any other room is available and he said No. We went out for few hours and then when we were back and tried to use the bathroom and we saw a tail below toilet seat. Not sure if it was snake or worm but we were not comfortable in any case. We asked hotel staff for help and he threw some water and said it’s gone and it won’t comeback. When we said we are not comfortable and need different room and can’t stay. The staff said that “One room is available “ but you have to pay more.

We were surprised that if you had another better hygienic room available why didn’t they showed us before, if it could have fitted our budget we should not have gone through such experience.

I literally hated this stay and won’t recommend to anyone until unless you see the room condition and can adjust.

We all have families but these hotel staff are thinking guest as money making machine and don’t care about anyone safety or comfort. Which is basic in hospitality industry.

I feel like i am wasting my time to write the review also , but it may help someone to not fall in trap...
