Extremely sorry to say, that this place has lost everything... The manners, hospitality, table atticate, food quality and astonished to know that Roti can be made out of Maida that to partially baked, cryspy Naan will be the reheated one and served lifelessly because you ordered a cryspy one and it was made alike before your order been placed and ofcourse the side other items took time... so it has been served alike. One more funny thing is immediately a small plate of few pieces of onion, carrot and cucumber with a pice of lime with a perfume of previously prepared, will be served immediately before you been attended for your orders and charged Rs.15/- multiplied by no of people you are on table in the Bill. They are not concerned with your need or choice, only to make business. After it you can't quit & you are bound to be there... how embarrassing is it you can imagine. Basically Bhubaneswar was visited by people from all over the world you can say... for different purposes. They are ready to spend money for good quality food on need and also shares their experience with others and more they keep it in memory to or not to visit again. According to me food business is the most blessed business by the Almighty that directly related to hunger, that's created by him only... somehow He created and we're here to fulfill it... such a beautiful way to serve for The Almighty and blessed by him. Disrespectful attitude, money making with useless food serving for the concern with a purpose related to his/her hunger, must be very badly harmful and painful in future that's unknown to everyone. My opinion to make business for blessings not for courses, respect the customer's hunger, affordability and requirement, it will never let you down 👇... else choice is yours... Never again to visit this place to waste my everything.... for his pocket....
Read moreYesterday (27.04.2024), I decided to order dinner for my family. I ordered a takeaway (parcel). In total I ordered 5 Chicken Biriyani (Rs. 170 / plate), 2 full plate Chilly Chicken, 1 plate Chilly Mushroom, 2 Butter Naan and 2 custards. The total bill was Rs. 1,750. When we came home and the biriyani was served, the biriyani was giving out a very unpleasant smell. Even the taste was sour (khatta). It was clear that the Biriyani was not fresh. Maybe due to LOW SALE during Lunch at Hotel Chancellor, they gave us the same Biriyani for our dinner. None of my family could eat the Biriyani. It was a huge huge embarrassment for me.
I was a customer of Hotel Chancellor SINCE 1996. I had huge praise for this Hotel. I had gone numerous times with my family for Dinein and Takeaways. After yesterday's experience, I'll never go to this hotel again.
This hotel should understand that when people are paying so much money for food, they should give FRESH FOOD at least. Whether food was tasty or not comes next. When customers are paying full amount for the food, the least a Hotel can do is to provide FRESH MADE FOOD.
I'LL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE. Due to LOW SALES, this Hotel will not hesitate to serve you 1-2 day old baasi food. People, STAY AWAY from this...
Read moreMy experience at Hotel Chancellor was highly disappointing, primarily due to the subpar food quality and the complete disregard for customer preferences.
The food quality was far from satisfactory; it can only be described as half-baked, both literally and figuratively. Dishes were undercooked and lacked flavor, which is a fundamental requirement for any restaurant. It's concerning when a hotel's kitchen fails to meet even the basic standards of culinary preparation.
Equally frustrating was the lack of attention to customer preferences. The staff appeared disinterested in catering to our choices and disregarded our requests. A fundamental principle of hospitality is to listen to and accommodate customer needs and preferences, which was clearly absent at Hotel Chancellor.
In summary, my experience at Hotel Chancellor was marred by inadequate food quality and a complete lack of customer-centric service. I would strongly advise potential patrons to reconsider their dining choices and explore other options that prioritize both food quality and customer...
