We as a family suffered, our sunday lunch got ruined, our peace of mind got vanished, so sharing this to all of you.....so that atleast u dont suffer like us..We 4 people including 2 senior citizens went for lunch today at 3pm. The place was obnouxiously crowded which is acceptable. We waited for a vacant table for 20 minutes and in end we sat. After that nothing. For a basic water bottle and food menu for ordering food, it took us 15min and 3 times requests to 3 different waiters. If it takes 30 minutes just for getting a waiter for taking down your order, then no doubt this place gonna look crowded all the time. Total chaos. No coordination. We order rice, mutter mushroom, mix veg, dal fry, tawa rotis and salad. We got our food within 30min which is acceptable as per the standards. But seeing the food quantity, i feel sad and looted. Even the plain rice quantity which is a staple thing in our odisha was bare minimum for 1 person. Seeing this we immediately order butter tandoori naan. We ate our food in 30min, and then kept on waiting for our naans which never came. We even reminded 2 waiters for the same but still no success in getting that "VVIP naans" and reluctanctly we just ate the curries alone. When we washed our hands then the naans arrived. 🤣 so much for a quick service and in return no sorries or apologies. The manager jist gave a smirk and cancelled the naan order saying "Running orders take time". As a vegetarian, I was on the hunt for the best veg restaurant in Bhubaneswar, and I would say that I found it at Truptee Veg Restaurant. I had a delightful dining experience here.

I started with the Paneer Tikka, which was perfectly grilled and packed with flavor. It set the tone for an amazing meal. For the main course, I opted for Jeera Rice and Dal Veg Tadka, both of which were simply delicious. The flavors were authentic, and the quality of the ingredients was evident.

However, the only downside was the wait time on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was bustling with customers, which led to a longer wait to get a table and slow service. But, trust me, the food was worth the wait.

As a Hyderabadi, I also appreciated that they have a sweet store right next to the restaurant. I couldn't resist trying their Rasmalai, Gulab Jamun, and Malai Roll. These desserts were a heavenly treat and a perfect way to end the meal.
