SPOT ON 81939 Hotel Sona Palace — Hotel in Chhattisgarh

Don't know why this particular hotel gets above 4 review, but the room they had provided us, was without door lock. Upon requesting the hotel authority to take care of that repeatedly, one of them tried to convince us by saying that no one is aware of that faulty lock so we could stay calm on that very matter and could go anywhere by keeping our room unlocked. TV was not functioning, Ac had not properly worked. Upon requesting them to clean the bathroom after a day stay, they didn't take care of that as their service provider was unavailable at that time. Bathroom exhaust was also not functioning. Poor hygiene And maintenance. Ànd for all these mind-blowing qualities of this hotel, they had charged us Rs. 1200 for each day !! I booked to stay there for less than a day. Just after 10 minutes the AC started blowing too hot air instead of cold. Water was not readily available. The hotel authority did not take responsibility for that. I immediately left the room. Even after such treatment that gave me a refund of 100/-. The staff, the owner are just a bunch crooks. I do not believe in revenge but as I do really know how the place really is, I won't really like some one to go through what I had to. The worst experience I ever could have. Fare for this hotel was 449 rs. via oyo app but we went to the hotel and booked room and it costed us 700 rs. , So try booking via oyo app.Cleanliness and hygiene below average.We booked non ac room so it didn't had geyser,tv or anything else.
