Let’s get one thing straight: Chole Bhature isn’t health food, not even from big names like Haldiram’s. So, if it’s not good for you, it better be darn tasty, right? Sadly, the Chole Bhature here was just average in flavor—nothing to write home about. On the plus side, the quantity is solid. They’re generous with refills of chole, onions, and chutney if you ask, and they don’t skimp. The bhature itself had a nice surprise—a pocket of potato mash right in the center, which I really enjoyed. The vibe is lively, with standing tables in the adjacent shop where you might squeeze in (sometimes sharing with strangers). But brace yourself for long lines—separate for men and women—that can stretch so far, you might lose your craving before you get served. And parking? It’s a nightmare, so plan ahead. One annoyance: there’s no handwash station, which is a must when your hands are dripping with oil from the bhature. Plenty of sweat is FREE there. Just Kidding. You can also order extras like lassi or other snacks from the adjacent shop, but those come at an additional cost. Oh, and don’t expect a washroom—there isn’t one. So, come prepared, because as they say, “Time toh yahan par lagne wala hai, dost!” (You’re gonna be waiting, buddy!) Overall: Decent Chole Bhature with good portions and refills, but the average taste, long queues, and lack of basic facilities like handwash or parking hold it back. If you’re nearby and craving a quick bite, it’s worth a try—just don’t expect a five-star experience.

Have you ever stood in queue for choley bhature??? Chache di Hatti in kamla Nagar market is known for mouth watering chole bhature and long queues where people actually stand in queue and wait for their turn to have their flavourful chole bhature which is best in town. Chache di hatti is small corner shop serving chole bhature past many years and taste is still the same, food is prepared in front of you with proper hygiene, affordable prices, delicious food what else one want. I recommend this place to everyone who is visiting kamla nagar even those on diets you will forget your diet.

Famous chhole bhatura outlet located at Kamla Nagar market, Near Delhi University. You have to wait in the queue for your food, there will be two queue's one for males and other for females. They serve Variety of Bhatura's Paneer Bhatura, Aaloo Bhatura and plain Bhatura with Chhole and green chutney with Achar. Amazing finger licking taste and not too oily ;-) one should visit this place and experiance their delecious chhole bhature

⭐ 1 Star Not Worth the Hype or the Heat

I had heard so much about chache Di Hatti its legacy, its “iconic” taste and naturally, I was excited. But the reality was honestly painful, both literally and figuratively. We waited in line for nearly an hour under the burning sun, drenched in sweat, thinking the food must be worth the wait. But what we got left us shocked and deeply disappointed. The chole were dripping with oil, made from poor-quality chana, and had zero flavour. The green chilli wasn’t even fried, which made the plate feel incomplete. And then came the final blow the bhature. So oily, so heavy, and worst of all, barely any aloo stuffing inside. It felt like biting into hot air soaked in oil. No crunch, no fluff, no balance. Just grease.

There were no sides, no pickle, no attention to detail just a plate thrown together with no love or care.

At ₹90, it wasn’t a meal it was a letdown. I truly believe this place is surviving only on its name and influencer promotions. The quality simply isn’t there anymore. Maybe it once had soul, but now it just feels hollow. I went there hopeful. I left sweaty, frustrated, and honestly, a little sad.

Separate point that made things worse: Absolutely no hygiene. The cooking area looked unclean, and the way food was being handled didn’t inspire any confidence. It genuinely made me uncomfortable. No place to sit. After standing in the heat for so long, we had to eat while standing on the side of a busy street. No tables, no shade just chaos. For a place with so much fame, this...

CUISINES Fast food, Indian SPECIAL DIETS Vegetarian Friendly, Vegan Options MEALS Lunch, Brunch FEATURES Takeout Location and contact 33 D Next to All Smile Dental Clinic, Kamla Nagar, New Delhi 110002 India Very delicious and mouth watering taste of Choley Bhaturey ... Quantity of One plate is sufficient for two people Rates are very reasonable But drawback is no sitting space..

Most famous place for DU students from north campus.very small shop;no place to sit, no hygiene you have keep standing while eating but still Delhiites love to eat chana bhatura at this place.you will always find a queue for placing orders,But remember this shop winds-up by 2:30/3:00 pm . You can enjoy two types of bhaturas -plate with plain bhatura will cost you 45₹ per plate n with aloo bhatura will cost 50₹ per plate,so economical n yummy too which stuff you tummy n suits to every pocket. They also sell packets of chana masala & i am a regular customer for that also. This is a must visit shop if you are a North Indian cuisine lover n you are in kamla nagar,New Delhi. This place is for Small Black Chole & Fried Bhature only. Place is very small & Tiny shop .The taste of Chole little different from other places which makes it more popular then others. The Place serve Two Kinds of Bhature - Plain & Aloo , both are good . Do try their Chola with Chutney . Only draw-back is Long Que at Lunch time . Limited place/ table - one or two to stand & eat . Best is take away . Open till 3 pm only . It is there since last 40~50 years . Great place .....

Chache Di Hatti, Kamla Nagar

Chache Di Hatti is a well-known eatery in Kamla Nagar, drawing large crowds for its Chhole Bhature. Despite the hype, my experience was underwhelming.

Positives:

Buzzing Atmosphere: The long queues and eager customers create a lively vibe.

Refreshing Lassi: The lassi here is quite good and refreshing.

Negatives:

Taste: The Chhole Bhature were decent but lacked the unique flavor one might expect from such a renowned spot.

High Prices: The food is overpriced, and I didn’t feel it was worth the money.

No Delivery: For the prices charged, the lack of delivery service is disappointing.

Om Di Hatti, Shakti Nagar Chowk

Om Di Hatti is another popular spot in Shakti Nagar Chowk known for its Chhole Bhature, but it also falls short of expectations in some aspects.

Positives:

Unique Taste: The flavor here is slightly different from other places, which might appeal to some people.

Local Favorite: It has a good reputation among locals.

Negatives:

Not Value for Money: The prices are high, but the food doesn’t justify the cost.

Limited Services: Similar to Chache Di Hatti, there’s no delivery service, which feels inconvenient considering the premium pricing.

Conclusion:

Both Chache Di Hatti and Om Di Hatti are worth trying once for their reputation, but if you're seeking value for money, there are better options available elsewhere. For budget-friendly yet flavorful Chhole Bhature, exploring lesser-known spots might offer a more...
