Hotel Dewan Palace — Hotel in Delhi

We came across this place while walking towards the station early morning after we came from manali.|We spoke to the owner that we needed a room just for few hours Before we could board the train to Mumbai but that didn't matter to the prices of the room. |Still we went ahead as the place looked pretty decent for a couple to stay than the others nearby.|We got a room for 700 rupees.||We ordered sum breakfast here with very less options being early morning. First of all its far from railways station and metro. even the eateries and cafes and dhabas near this hotel are expensive.Reception area can be deceiving. I was showed to a small okayish room for 350 bucks but to find bedsheet burnt with cigarette hole, windows open and mosquitoes were already roaming inside. Big tv but doesn't work at all and the bathroom so small I could hardly enjoy a proper bath. even the jetspray of bathroom was not working properly. not a good experience. The hotel is cheap with all the basic amenities. Nothing special just the usual hotle stuff, the rooms are quite spacious and the air conditioning is not that great I must say but it all comes down to the price point it's really cheap and it has all the services you could want and as I recall it has a travel agency too so if you want some sightseeing they've got you covered, they can arrange a guide and a ride and it's the only hotel available at the last minute (not the only one though).
