We originally booked a much more expensive hotel in Delhi, but after traveling for two weeks decided our money is better spent on food, gifts and other stuff. After getting a positive review about this hotel from a traveler we met along the way, we checked online and couldn't find any reviews. However, we saw that the hotel was offering a $27 special via Agoda. ||||We emailed the hotel directly and they offered to honor that price and include free pickup from the airport (no parking fees - just free). So we decided to take our chances. The pickup from the airport was smooth. ||||When we arrived at the hotel in Pahar Ganj, the hotel looked new and fine from the outside. We were shown our room, which also looked fine (nothing extraordinary, but fine by mid-range Indian standards considering Delhi is much more expensive than other parts of India). ||||Generally, our stay was fine, but it's not for anybody who enjoys peace and quiet and Western conveniences. This hotel is still somewhat under construction...it looks like an elevator is coming. All sides also face loud streets where tons of people hang out all day long. There is construction noise, cooking noise and smells, children playing noise, etc pretty much all day long except midnight to 8am. If this bothers you, you may want to stay in a different area, though most of Delhi is pretty busy and loud. We used earplugs and were ok, for the most part. And we were pretty much out all day anyway, exploring the enourmous city of Delhi. For what it's worth, the bigger more expensive rooms with two beds face a somewhat quieter side of the hotel. ||||The other inconvenience was that the staff had to come up to "turn on" the hot water each time we needed to use it. This wasn't a huge issue for us, but a slight inconvenience. However, once the hot water was on, it was great and the shower pressure was amazing - probably the best showers we've had in India.||||The rooms are also clean, but not sparkling clean. You won't want to look under the bed or in corners. ||||That said, for $27, this is a pretty good deal for Delhi and was a reasonable option for us...
Read moreLooking for Cheap stay ? This is option, But dont select so fast, because there are some things you should consider before going here. 🔥First of all for a price range like this, the room we get it satisfactory. AC and non AC room are there according to your like. For pricing ⭐ 🔥Food is available within the hotel, not like a restaurant but they'll bring it to your Room. Drinks like beer are also available. I didn't taste it so cant comment on that. Still, ⭐. 🔥its in the town itself. You have to be inside the town if some emergency is there. So yeah.. almost all services are reachable. so ⭐ 🔥The thing which made me not to select this hotel anymore is the surrounding of this hotel. Yes its disgusting, Not that much, but for families and all its a very odd place to stay. If you are here alone, or with your friends and only for one or two days just for sleeping, Then its ok, but otherwise. no.. not at all. 🔥Another thing that made me disappointing is NO NETWORK RANGE !! . there's nothing more frustrating than not getting speed for internet. Its so weak, and no wifi option also.
AGAIN..This is your place only if you are with your friends or alone,(not with family), one or two days of stay, doesn't care about...
