PROs:|When I needed a hair drier, the one they gave me smelled burnt. I complained and the next day the bought a new one. This was the one good / nice thing.||CONs:|1. This hotel has the most stupid room service system I have ever seen. On each floor they have a phone ringing continuously in hopes that someone will pick up. Nothing is soundproof so we could hear the ringing as though it was next to us. It was maddening.||The staff is so loud and inconsiderate. Constantly yelling and making noise around our door. We had the worst room ever.||2. The toiletries consist of 3 tiny samples and that’s all. ||3. The shower has minimum pressure and there is no curtain. You are showering above the toilet and there is water everywhere.||4. The staff speaks barely any English. They fake it really good though, by repeating what you are saying like a parrot. It’s so annoying, especially when you need something from them. For all I know they could all be speaking fluent English, but are just dummying it down so they don’t have to do anything.||5. The staff is very rude. One of them just came into my room uninvited and attempted to take our landline phone. Luckily my husband started yelling and we kicked him out. We did not feel safe.||6. The breakfast is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. Dirty and tasteless and very very dirty.||7. The online pictures of the hotel are photoshopped / misleading. It’s actually located in the heart of a very filthy bazaar. One of the poorest, most unsafe areas. It’s mainly used by backpackers. I do not recommend it.||I hated everything about our stay here. AVOID AT ALL COST and save yourself time, money and headache. While waiting to be checked-in, other customers were spoken to rudely - this should've been the first sign of what is about to be our experience & more. While checking in, we were asked for more documentation which we didn’t have on-hand. He refused to check us in, fully aware that we had stayed at 3 other hotels who never requested this documentation from us. Rather than having an adult conversation & helping customers, he continued to be rude & started belittling other hotels we previously stayed at. He also told us that if we left, we wouldn’t find any hotels that would allow us in without the document & that we’d end up coming back to this hotel - a scare tactic he assumed we'd fall into, as it was way past 9/10 PM and 2 females trying to check-in a hotel in Delhi. After an excruciating conversation, we left & found a hotel that checked us in without any issues and did not request any extra documentation from us. Please note, that during our entire trip to India we've checked into 11 hotels, none of which have asked us for the extra documentation that this hotel had asked for. They denied us a refund even though they were the ones to refuse to check us in. Moreover, after my experience with other hotels in India, I advise everyone to be cautious with the documents you are providing here, as I wouldn't be surprised if they might be running an ID theft scam business, with this...
