Hotel Kabeer — Hotel in Delhi

Dear Travellers, ||I am taking time to write a review for this hotel because of our terrible experience. our stay was in July 23 2019. We were a party of 14, large group booked five rooms and when we arrived at the hotel, there was a pungent smell in the rooms, one of the room given had water on the floor, not sure what it was. The sheets were not changed and it had even foot prints on it from a traveller putting his foot on the sheet. I have a bunch of photos for your review. This place is filthy and dirty. Manager is stubborn guy, and staff helpless. one of the things i was told was, is this how you write names? i was taken back by that comment. First thing you arrive at a hotel and this is what you hear. I was told to write all fourteen traveler's names in a box size 2"x4", so i wrote all first names separated by a comma. That apart, Hotel seems to be built well, however maintenance is utterly lacking. I have contemplated losing all the money i paid and move to another hotel on the same street that seemed to be really nice, i did not check the rooms though in the other hotel. then again i have already paid 10K and it was for a night's sleep, and next morning we checked as soon as we can. It was a five day trip in total and last day's night in this hotel, ruined the trip totally.||Lessons learned: Do not trust travel website. Goibobo had 4/5 ratings, which i generally consider good. while google has 3.2||Do not ever book hotels near railway stations. Locality is not good and cleanliness...

Disappointing and Unprofessional Experience The checkout time was 12 pm, and I was delayed by just one hour. I had informed the staff about this in advance, yet they insisted I pay half a day’s charge for the extra hour. When I asked them to show where such a rule was mentioned, they had no proper explanation. To make matters worse, they started accusing me of damaging a glass panel under the television and a bathroom mirror, both of which were already broken when I checked in. If I had caused any damage, I would have accepted responsibility, but clearly, this was an attempt to unfairly charge me. At one point, they even demanded ₹1000 for this issue. I refused, and after unnecessarily wasting another hour of my time, they finally let me leave without payment. U forgot 1 thing that we are from kerala. No problem hope u understood well now

Basic service was also disappointing. For example, when I requested drinking water at check-in, it was not provided for more than two hours, and I eventually had to go downstairs myself to get it. Overall, the management here is extremely unprofessional and money-minded. Instead of offering hospitality and understanding, they focus on unnecessary charges and arguments. There are far better options nearby where guests are treated with respect. I would not recommend this...

Disgusting and pathetic experience.I spoke to their Manager before making the booking for my elderly parents and didn’t want them to suffer for searching the hotels so I called hotel Kabeer to confirm early check in and breakfast inclusive room before making the booking online. That time Mr. Anil “so called Manger” confirmed me that he will provide room for early check in. But when my parents reached there he totally denied to give him the room and no breakfast can be provided to them which was horrific. I ended up calling the online site from where I have made the booking and this manger was saying that he had never spoken to me and he has never mentioned that room and breakfast will be provided. Having no option so asked them to look for other hotels near by ( felt bad to make them suffer) then exact after 20 mins this manger called me and said room is available but you have to pay 2000 at hotel. I got agitated first he denied for having any rooms and said that they have to wait till 12:00 pm then suddenly he has the room now. Second I had already made the payment for deluxe room with breakfast and special request for early check in and this man is asking them to pay extra money (2000) for what making...
