Hotel Sai Palace DX. — Hotel in Delhi

We had a very unpleasant stay here, and so did our travel friends. ||The room wasn't ready when we arrived after 8pm. ||Our Booking.com booking said breakfast included, but when we asked them about it they said they didn't know what we were talking about. ||There were used razorblades in the bathroom and rubbish in the drawers. After being taken to the wrong hotel by the rickshaw, we found the Sai. We had a very warm welcome, which was a relief. The room was basic but acceptable but the bed was too short for anyone over 6 foot. It was quiet but sadly lacked any windows. Glimpse views of the Taj from the rooftop terrace. We were told breakfast, at a charge, started 7 am...walked up at 7.30 to find the doors padlocked.. We had a very different experience checking out. Staff rude and unfriendly, but they did store our bags while we went to the Taj ( don't try to take any bags in there...they search everything...
