Skylite Hotels — Hotel in East Zone

Absolutely not worth the price! Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The only positive is its proximity to Coimbatore airport. Everything else is bad, especially the cleanliness of the rooms! Absolutely not worth the INR 2.5K we paid to stay here for 1 night. My wife and I arrived at the hotel at about 9.30PM at night. Apart from asking for my ID proof, I was also asked to share on whatsapp, a soft-copy of our marriage certificate! Not sure what would have happened if I hadn't carried it with me (apparently it is hotel policy to ask for marriage proof if you are travelling with a partner).

The first 2 rooms we were sent to had multiple cockroaches running around the mattress and on the bed. When we pointed this out, we were told with a straight face that we would be given another room. No apology was thought necessary. Thankfully the 3rd room didn't have any pests running around and we took it. The room was small, congested and had an overall icky feel to it. AC worked fine. Cheap, small soaps in the bathroom. The kettle in the room was dirty and unusable. When we asked if dinner could be arranged, we were told it had to be ordered from this place called Star Biryani. Having seen the state of the hotel, we decided against it and just ordered from a McDonald's close by. The free breakfast the next morning was also atrocious with cheap quality food and plastic plates/ spoons, etc.

Overall a bad experience and I wouldn't recommend this...

I stayed here with my family for 2 nights. 29th April and 30 April 2017. ||We had reserved 2 rooms and 1 extra bedding per room as we were total 6 members.||||The only benefit it has is ,it is in the proximity of airport.||||There is no restaurant of their own, they will charge 25% extra and get the food from outside . You would even accept this but we ordered plain rice and it was smelling bad. The excuse they gave is that once packed it shud be consumed within 5 min. ||There are baby cockroaches running in the washrooms, they are stinking. Forget about toileteries. In case you are left with no option but to book this hotel, please carry your toileteries. You would feel like banging your head when you would see chocked wash basins. They will only provide towels if you ask for it.||||We had our breakfast included, however they would not give it for 6 adults. They would bring it for 4 adults or 3 adults as per their own wish.It is not at all worth it. You can definitely find better rather best options in the same amount.||||However after all these disappoinments, I would really praise the hospitality part. Just give a call , they would appear...

Hotel is near Coimbatore Airport in Chitra, Coimbatore. We stayed here for a night after returning from Mahashivratri celebration at Isha. The room has all basic amenities like a clean double bed with mattress, Teapot, Glasses, a water bottle and washrooms. Has good lighting and big window. The hotel is peaceful and staff is really cooperative. They took 5-7 minutes for check in and we were moved to a clean room immediately. It's only 10 minutes walk to reach Coimbatore Airport. We walked in nearby areas for dinner and there are many famous options available like Shree Anandas, Annapoorna, Star Biryani. Many food options available in within 10 minutes walk nearby. The hotel is exactly at the airport circle. So has major location. Space is the issue, as Overall room size is really small. But okay for 2 people, we felt comfortable. Overall a good...
