Agonda Heritage — Hotel in Goa

DISGUSTING!!!! The receptionist’s conduct was HORRIBLE, he had the audacity to raise his voice on us for his own mess up, the booked rooms were allotted to other tourists, we were kept waiting in the rain, no initiative to bring umbrellas or any other protection for the guests. Not a good first impression!!! It was raining cats and dogs we had senior citizens with us, they did not let us into our rooms before we completed the entire payment, which honestly is a BIZARRE concept especially when we had already booked the rooms with some percentage of the payment, the rooms were good although not big enough. This resort is a managerial disaster, the staff is misinformed and misguided, the manager is solely to be blamed for this, the manager is not present in the resort and the staff are managed poorly by him. What you expect? I expected a good room, clean bathrooms, good view of beach, and a good staff. Yes I got every thing what I expected. I stayed on 1st floor Beach front view in Agonda Heritage from 28th to 1st Jan. I loved it. The view from my room is awesome. The staff is perfect. The room is very decent, the bed is king size,which is good for couple plus 2 children @9 years each. What you should not expect from Agonda Heritage: Food, liquor room service. Because you can find 100's of shacks down the lane to enjoy different foods and liquor. Why Agonda beach ? This is the beach which is located in 3 to 4 kms strech between two hills. the water is good, peace and calm. Not like Baga, this is very private and you can actually have peace of mind. Not a place recommended to stay at if you are looking for a comfortable stay. Firstly, the pictures shared are taken at such an angel that makes the rooms bigger than they actually are. Really small cramped up rooms. There's hardly space to keep the luggage and move around in the room. Service is zero. Staff will not clean the room even if you tell them multiple times. They do not provide basic stuff like glass, spoons also if in case you need it. There is no restaurant attached to the resort. Their own restaurant is at a walking distance but they refuse to deliver anything from the restaurant. So for everything you have to walk to the restaurant.
