Cant stop raving about this place. We were staying at goa cottages with our friends who we were meeting after 6 yrs.. the restaurant being situated centrally in the resort turned out to be the perfect spot for our reunion. We used to come right here after waking up and would not leave the table until our breakfast and lunch was done. We would just go to our rooms to freshen up and be back again to order more food n drinks n stayed up till night. the ambience is amazing with beautiful plants giving us shade throughout the day and lovely sounds of the waves providing a constant background music. the food , drinks are too good and so is the staff, always keeping their distance but always available whenever we need them.. we never had to wait too long for our orders.. and we ordered A LOT over the 3 days! Some of the most yummiest items were the french toast, puri bhaji, the french press coffee, goan bread, prawns and the wedges, goan curry with rice and the paneer n chicken butter masala!!! the 2 cute dogs gave company most of the times and the staff was friendly and would come up to talk at times.. we initially thought we would go around and try the other restaurants but we never felt the need for it. honestly never felt like leaving our table ! would love to...
Read moreWe visited Kamaya's restaurant multiple times during our one week stay in South Goa. We were 2 families traveling with kids. There is (limited but available) parking for guests inside the resort premises. The service, ambience( the restaurant tables are set up in a mangrove type of garden setting with mind-blowing tropical foliage! ) , location, facilities(great beach view and direct access to Agonda beach ) were one of the best we found in all of South Goa. We chanced upon Kamaya on our way back from a Dolphin tour from Agonda beach. We decided to break for lunch and ended up spending hours here. There were restrooms, showers, clean water faucets everywhere, making it very convenient for families with young kids. Restrooms were clean and maintained well. Service was a bit slow since the staff catered to the constant stream of customers ( including the residents at the resort), staff was courteous and cheerful, food was great too -both veg &non-veg items ( just a bit on the saltier side for our taste) , drinks and appetizers - were all great! We loved it so much that we went back the next day for both breakfast and lunch!! A must-go if you're looking for a calm, convenient and enjoyable...
Read moreWe stayed at the Goa Cottages Agonda, which is the property that the restaurant is located within. Thus we had enjoyed the food all day long from breakfast to late night snacks. Usually, we chose different orders with my wife in order to have a taste of different dishes. Went thorugh the entire menu for 10 days and everything tasted delicious without any exception.
Hrithik, the customer relations manager, is there for you to get your experience to perfection and he does not fail thanks to the cook (his father) and the rest of the staff. Everyone working in the restaurant and the bar are absoluteley kind and helpful.
All products used are fresh and tasty. The menu has quite a few interesting dishes worth trying out both in Indian cusine and selection of some western cusines.
All seafood, salads, fruite basket, juices/coctails were perfect. Portions are well enough to get anyone full. Plating, especially for the main dishes and pasta options, was exceptional. Pricing is reasonable, service is quite fast comparing to other restaurants in the region. But the welcoming experience and coziness is still above all.
Looking forward to...
