GOOD PLACE WITH WARM HOSPITALITY
When I was searching for a stay in Goa, several hotels & homestays came along, but what caught my eye was your property.. I visited there this month along with friends & family for 2days. To be very honest, I was a little worried about how the property or the hospitality is going to be !! But when I stepped into the property, I simply loved it.. Every minute details of the property revealed its warmth & welcoming atmosphere.. The pile of books at the entrance fascinated me the most.. The kids loved the pool & so did the elders 🙂.. The rooms were snug, clean & most importantly fresh. The small balcony along with the room gave a leeway to take a glimpse of the outside beauty when you don't feel like going out or you feel like spending some time with your beloved over a cup of coffee or a glass of wine or a bottle of beer.. The snooker board can be a timepass for some.. I liked the open pizza oven by the pool.. The dining area is quite comfy either.. The affability of the staff was at their best. The food.... Breakfast was good but you need to include more fresh fruits & cereals & milk into the menu.. The Chefs have good culinary skills.. I liked the food that were been ordered. The birthday party that we had by the pool was great..
Thank you so much DEV for being there through the evening & for your hospitality.. Thank you so much Castle House staff for making our stay a joyful & memorable one...
Read moreThe hotel is nice and located inside small lane and so quiet difficult to find. But the great thing is it's very near to Calangute beach, approximately 900 meters away from the hotel. When you enter the hotel you are welcomed by a nice small swimming pool and dining tables are arranged around the pool so you can enjoy the pool view and the food. We stayed for one night and complimentary breakfast was offered next day morning it was a buffet breakfast starting from Upma, paratha, Puri bhaji, sprouts, tea, coffee and eggs, bread, butter, jam. Toaster is also there. The upma was unfortunately cold and we have to get it hot after telling the manager. Although it was not tasty. The rooms are quite big and the bathroom is a spacious, the bed is double bed also one extra single bed was there as we were with the kids. Tv is bit small compared to room size and very few channels are available. Small balcony is there. Hotel is clean. We stayed on the ground floor, also the upper floors are there. They have a variety of books in the lobb. The highlight is karaoke in the evening where you can also participate in the singing along with the DJ. Overall a niceexperience near Calangute beach.Shall visit once again. The rates are around 3k per night excluding taxes as we visited during peak period...
Read moreAt first Castle House was hard to find, as it's down an unnamed road, off of the main road to Calangute Beach. The room was not what I expected and was fairly grubby, but after a long flight from London and abnormal amounts of harassment outside of the airport... all that was needed was a place to rest our heads. The hotel is situated in a good area, it's pretty quiet (apart from the packs of dogs howling outside in the night) and it's close to Calangute beach, an internet cafe, the bus stop as well as the shops, restaurants and bars. The staff are excellent and were so friendly, so it made up for the grubby room (bed clothes had satins, as did the walls and doors). Halfway through our stay we noticed that the room began to smell very strongly of mould, and upon inspecting the walls, pillars and ceilings in our room, we noticed that there was in fact a lot of mould that had just painted over. The staff were informed and changed our room for us, which turned out to be much better! Breakfast is simple, but included and the rate per room was cheap! There is a poolside bar and the drinks are very cheap! Just to re-iterate the staff were great and made this place great! They are very willing to help you with everything and arrange a taxi for you at a...
