The Place is very good no doubt...But just like they say the first impression is always the last impression..I have travelled a lot and in many resorts but never got such treatment while entering it. We entered the resort and the front office staff was rude. We had booked two Double- bed rooms but we were being given twin single bed rooms. Instead of the Receptionist handling our query.The house keeping Bengali lady was talking to us and was telling us take the room which we have now.How is that even legit.Tomorrow if I go to any resort and book a family suite for example.The Resort won't tell me sir our family suite is booked now, so we can't give it to you.Seriously lame answers. Later when I said I want to talk to the front office manager, they said he is not there and he is gone to have lunch. When asked for his number, we were denied and the house keeping lady is only making conversation's with him on the phone.My mother- in-law being a Diabetic patient was kept waiting for 1 and half hours outside without checking us in the right room. Then we were provided the Front office manager's number named Raghu, when we called him he started being aggressive to me and my in-laws on the phone and told us take whatever rooms we have or get lost and take your money back..I had booked two rooms on 8th of June for October and they state because we did prior bookings we will not get the room we want. How does that even make sense. We book online for a reason so that we face no hassle while entering the resort. Then I left my in-laws and fiance to a hotel to eat lunch as we were denied the rooms we booked.
After that I came back to the resort and the front office manager was there and when I told him I need my room sorted out. He was like get out or I will call the police.You will have to take the room we have. Raghu is one of the most uncultured and dismannered Front office manager's I have met. Later the Operations manager Aslina came and she took over the situation and she resolved it in a calm way. She accepted that it was a mistake on their end and they got it rectified the next day and gave us our room the next morning. Very unpleasant experience while entering the resort and an utter inconvenience
Piyush Patel the owner of Coconut Grove..your place is a good place.But trust me your front office manager Raghu is a scammer and needs to be changed due to the utter inconvenience and agression he has towards your customers . Others are being occupied and in booked rooms. I hope you look into this issue and improve your front office...

Their food is also deliciois with quality and quantity both balanced. You might not get lucky seeing a hot girl but ypu will definitely get this self hot pool (which needed to be cooled) . Whem asked to the manager he says humidity is more by putting his palm on his cheek. The pool is as warm as if someone is continuously urinating in it. NOW COMES THE MAIN PART "there is person named diogo (scooty rentals) who seems like rain (better in the starting worst in the ending)" he cheats on you and he takes his spectacals underneath his raincoat and the crooked diogo gets wild speaks in konkani and charges you hefty fees and rotated the handle of the bike here and there and says sound comes. BEWARE. We called room service for Dettol (medical condition) and didn't receive at all, instead gave us a filthy soap and said it's Dettol. Don't get excited seeing the tuquila bar because there you can get the maximum is a bottle opener. Coming to the facing beach there is a nice shower provided to you at first then a poisonous shower of snakes where you can get maximum cardio because you have to run till the beach(betalbatim). There is also a hidden treasure on the beach but go find it yourself at night hahahah ! Also if you are a sporty person and willing to play some outdoor games there is also some past guys all the balls are bursted by some druckard people and the new ball will arrive after your checkout date carry your own ball and Dettol... That's it guys have fun with Diago enjoy the shawarma without kabus and with a ton of cabbage and no chicken. Diogo sucks and his katara scooters !!! P.S. : if you find a blue Kata (body scrubber) return it to vasai taking scooty from diogo whose tires on this Earth to burst as soon...
Read moreBooked 3-nights stay with family during Christmas break 2022 through MMT. Rated 4 star on MMT, the property isn’t worth even a 3-star. An ageing property, the room’s doors & fittings are not in good shape. Owing to the timing of our stay, we were charged 4 times the regular price. Had the experience been pleasant, would have been great. It was TERRIBLE, to say the least.
Upon arrival, we requested for a room with balcony. Due to occupancy, it wasn’t available. We informed them to let us know availability the next day. Nobody got back & when we checked at the reception, the person on duty didn’t have any info. For everything you request them, their standard answer is “I will check with my colleague or manager and get back” and that “get back” never happens. Had to wait for half an hour for some toiletries after the request & 2 follow-ups.
Water leakage in one of the taps, which was pointed out to the staff, didn’t get resolved.
The worst part – in the morning at 6 am, there was no water in the bathroom. Managed to get out somehow & raised the issue with the hotel, told us to shift to another room (remember, 6 am on the day of check out!).
The Wi-Fi hardly worked. The AC is placed at a height almost equivalent to your height & the cooling wasn’t good inside. Room wasn’t cleaned one day & when checked, told that we had to raise a request to clean the room. In a so called 4-star property, do we really have to raise a request to clean the room?
Upon check-out, when feedback was shared, the reception staff was laughing...
Consider this property if there’s no other option...
