Nazare is part of Beleza by the beach resort. After taking a round, we decided to be seated outside towards the beach.
Food: Average like any other place. They don’t serve anything different. My opinion might be biased as I am vegetarian.
Service: Pathetic, they didn’t serve the food, just in hurry to make sure plates land the table.
No Tissue, Water served on our table. Nobody served food on our table, was it because we were not staying in their resort? Not sure. We asked for another drink, but they struggled to serve it.
Ambience: I personally felt that it was more like a beach shack rather than a restaurant, just with dressed up staff.
Beach: Allowed to go the beach at night.
Hygiene: Menu was covered with marks of food. This goes on customers too. But the restaurant needs to maintain it. If they feel they are part of a 3-4 star property.
They have literally put up toilet papers on top of tissue dispenser for customers to use. Seriously?
For diners with reservations: Zomato/Swiggy discounts only on food. Not on drinks.
Hospitality: Security guard had better understanding of hospitality than the staff. As we were walking it started to rain, The security guard rushed towards us with an umbrella. Thank you :)
We were really disappointed with the service. We decided to move out of there very quickly. They didn’t show the courtesy or made corrections even after notifying them about it.

Read moreOne of the waiters was one of the most horrible people I've met. The waiter took the order and about 20 minutes or so later I tried to ask one of the other waiters what might be the expected waiting time. His response was that your order was taken only about 5 minutes back which seemed rather absurd and so he called my waiter. My waiter started SHOUTING at me and my father that "Your order was taken 10 minutes back, you can't ask this question of when food will arrive." He started SLAMMING his hands and said "This is not the way things work". All I wanted to ask was how much time my order might take and nothing else. Seeing this type of behaviour at a place which tries to portray itself as rather fancy and high was shocking. We started to leave. The manager himself was shocked at this man and tried to save the situation by apologising for his behaviour. We somehow ate uncomfortably and paid the bill and the manager seemed rather apologetic at the situation and even offered to skip the bill which we rightly denied and paid for the same. At the end I had a word with the waiter and told him his attitude wasn't right but even then he didn't even look us in the eye even for a second, was in his attitude and without saying a word, just left. Nothing describes a prick more than this person. The manager must have apologized about 15 times but...
Read moreWe’re currently staying at Beleza by the Beach and decided to have dinner at Nazaré Restaurant. The food was absolutely fantastic — beautifully prepared, flavorful, and some of the best we’ve had in the area.
However, our experience was let down by one member of the staff. We initially sat at a table near some very noisy children who were running around, so we politely asked to be moved to a quieter spot to enjoy our meal. The staff kindly accommodated us and moved us to a table closer to the beach — which we appreciated.
But shortly after Ajay, another staff member came over and, in a very rude and abrupt manner, told us we had to leave that table because it was “reserved” and someone had “paid for it.” There was no polite explanation or offer to help us find another spot — just a dismissive and uncomfortable interaction that left a bad impression.
It’s really unfortunate, because the food and setting are excellent. We’d still recommend Nazaré for the cuisine, but we sincerely hope management addresses the behavior of that particular staff member. A great dining experience isn’t just about the food — how guests are treated matters...
