Cuba Baga — Hotel in Goa

I stayed in Cuba Baga hotel for 3 days in month of November 2016.I give an average rating to this hotel coz i think some facilities which could be improved to meet guests basic requirement. Cuba Baga hotel has a very nice location. Baga beach is at walking distance from this place. Also this hotel is very near to famous nightclubs in baga area like Titos, Mambo, Kamaki etc.||This hotel is located inside the lane away from main road chaos. Breakfast very limited not much choices for offer but the quality of food was nice. This place is very famous among foreigners and we see lot of foreigners in this hotel.They isually come here to have food and might hardly pefer staying here.Don't know why? Rooms are neat, clean tidy but lightning was improper.The room had a very bad dull yellow light which made reading difficult in that light.A simple white tubelight would been better option to offer. I also faced problem with electric switches in my room, the electric wire supplying power to TV and Set top box was very weak. Whenever i wished to watch TV, i called the hotel attendants. They did co-operate with me and made that TV working. The hotel staff mentions that they have a battery backup incase of power failure but it didn't work. We noticed that except our room all other rooms had power supply in case of power failure.||Another imp thing i need to mention is that at morning between 4.00 AM to 8.00 AM there is no single attendant available to attend the guest. If any emergency arises or if a guest needs any assistance at this time, there is no person available in this hotel to attend that guest or to assist any guest. ||They don't have a facility of plain filtered water rather they don't have a simple water purifier, so we were forced to purchase mineral water from hotel. We spent our money unnecessary on mineral water.||I would suggest them please improve basic facilities at least rest...

This is a very average hotel. We stayed here for 1 night so it was ok for us. But definitely not worth the place if you are travelling with family. We had booked a family room which had 2 beds. Room size was good but the linen was not up to the mark. Room was pretty clean. ||Since we left early at 8 am we didnt get breakfast which starts only after 9. In fact there was no one at reception at 8am .||But our friends who were checking out later in the day said one has to literally wait till lunch time to get the complementary breakfast-which is again very average.||We had one lunch there. Food service is damn slow. Wait time is atleast an hour after u order.||Rooms are so close to each other. People staying in the adjacent room were so noisy and drunk and we could hear them so loud. It was really not very decent.||Saw mainly bachelors staying there. Definitely not recommended for family.||Overall would not recommend this hotel.||There is parking for only 2 cars at the hotel.||Beach is about 7 mins walk.||There are much better places at the same price...

This is a typical basic Goan hotel which is a bar with several rooms above. Fantastic location five mins walk to beach. It's really close to three or four fantastic restaurant s, excellent value for money, with good food in the bar. There are two small dogs that lived behind an adjacent restaurant which howl and bark all night, yes, all-night! Rooms were basic but clean. One thing spoilt our holiday which was the theft of my mobile from my room. The phone was my second emergency phone, which was kept out of sight in a travel bag which in turn was inside a sealed suitcase, therefore someone with access to the room and plenty of time had rifled through all our belongings whilst we were at the beach!
