DALLAS BEACH RESORTS ASHVEM BEACH NORTH GOA — Hotel in Goa

Please read all the points very carefully before planning your stay with DALLAS BEACH RESORT:||||1.) Upon arrival, we were given our room, but it was not ready. It took time for them to install the television and fix the exhaust in the washroom, which took a day.||||2.) The WiFi connection was pathetic. Despite numerous follow-ups, we did not get a solution and suffered from no internet connectivity.||||3.) The free breakfast included in our plan was cheap in quality and also offered the same food items daily. However, when you pay for lunch and dinner, the food quality improves.||||4.) The cafeteria is not clean, and when it rains, water drips into the restaurant. The service is very slow, with food orders taking 30 to 45 minutes to be prepared and reach your table.||||5.) THIS POINT DESERVES SPECIAL MENTION due to its unforgettable nature. The location is a bit offbeat, and opposite the resort, there is a taxi service run by local guys. These taxi service providers charge exorbitant rates (500 bucks for 3 km) and not ready to negotiate because they operate like a mafia. We were not allowed to book a cab from anywhere else. But, we had no idea that this decision would turn into a nightmare. When our driver arrived to pick us up, the local taxi service guys appeared like a mafia and started threatening both our driver and us (three ladies). They insisted that we could only hire cabs from them, even though they charged exorbitant price. They created a scene outside the Dallas Resort for a good 45 minutes, and many other guests came to our support, but it did not bother them. None of the resort staff tried to settle the chaos. We were threatened and spoken with cuss words for not taking a taxi from them. They had no shame in how they spoke to females, especially two old ladies.||||Our experience at Dallas Beach Resort was pathetic and the worst we have ever had. We booked this resort for 5 nights and my family thoroughly enjoyed it. I feel if you want to stay in North goa, then Ashwem beach is best place to be in and this resort is value for money.||Location|- The best part is location as this resort is located right on main Ashwem Beach and you can go straight to beach by just walking few steps from your room. Even you have view of Sea from outside of almost all the rooms. |I feel that beach in exact front of this resort is cleanest and feels like private beach since there are only 1-2 shacks so not much crowd and it remains clean. even if you walk 1 km on either side, you will feel that level of cleanliness and I think major issue is that there are lots of shacks. so if you want to have peaceful place to enjoy on beach than this is it.|- They have a sitting arrangement on deck where you can have your dinner which beautiful sea view.||Room|- Rooms are well maintained and spacious. considering they are next to sea side, I feel they have managed to keep it well though a bit can be improved on deep cleaning in few areas inside room but nothing that you can't live with.|- outside room also is beautifully maintained and they have small garden in front of every ground floor room which we felt was best to sit and relax with family in evening.|Only one one day there was some foul smell in room and washroom which was taken care of promptly when we raised it with Housekeeping staff.||Staff|- Staff there is excellent and everyone is polite and ready to help you always. special thanks to Lira for managing our booking and helping us throughout the stay when needed.
