Nestled along the serene coastline of Goa, La Cabana Spa and Resort is a slice of paradise that promises a rejuvenating escape. This exquisite property, a beacon of comfort and luxury, made my recent trip to Goa an unforgettable experience. From the moment I stepped into La Cabana, the resort's staff enveloped me with warm, Goan hospitality that’s both genuine and attentive. The check-in process was as swift as it was friendly, allowing me to sink into vacation mode immediately. The resort flaunts a collection of charming beachfront wooden chalets, Portuguese villas, and elegant tents, all offering privacy and unparalleled views of the Arabian Sea. The accommodations are well-appointed with modern amenities where the whispering sea breeze commingles with the comforts of luxury living. The beds are a dream, promising restful slumbers beneath a canopy of stars audible through the open windows. La Cabana takes pride in its landscape – lush green lawns are punctuated with vibrant tropical flowers providing a feast for the eyes and a haven for the soul. The azure pool is a centerpiece, inviting guests for a refreshing dip, while sun loungers dotting the periphery make for a perfect sunbathing experience. The Spa at La Cabana is a sanctuary where skilled therapists offer a myriad of treatments designed to pamper and revitalize. I indulged in an Ayurvedic massage that kneaded away the stresses of my world, leaving me feeling lighter and energetically realigned. Dining at the resort is a celebration of flavors. The sea-facing restaurant serves up a wonderful array of local Goan cuisine, along with international dishes that cater to every palate. Every meal is a multisensory delight, with the sound of waves providing the perfect acoustic backdrop. I would rate them complete 5 star ⭐ but did not like some of the dishes those were served. What truly sets La Cabana apart is its commitment to experiences. Sunrise yoga sessions on the beach, romantic candlelit dinners by the shore, or exhilarating water sports for the adventurous souls – there’s something for every guest. The highlight of my stay, the beach itself, was pristine and private. An early morning walk along the soft sand, watching the sun paint the horizon in hues of amber, is etched in my memory as a moment of pure bliss. In conclusion, La Cabana Spa and Resort stands as a beacon of tranquil luxury and impeccable service. It offers an experience that not only rejuvenates the body but also replenishes the soul. I left with a promise to myself to return, and a recommendation to all who seek a haven of peace in the lively vibe of Goa.

Tata’s restaurant (not to be confused with the Indian brand) is located in Mandrem on the main road opposite Indane gas and HDFC bank. I discovered Tata’s restaurant when visiting (Mandrem and Morjim). The setup is very simple - garden tables and chairs, open on 4 sides with a tiled roof. It’s airy, bright, a good view of the road and people passing by, ambient plus good music playing in the back and a view of the trees planted outside. You won’t experience this in a hotel closed with walls. I’ve tried various dishes here like the famous Goan Thali, King Fish, Fried Rice, Chicken 65, Chicken Lollipops, Soups, Bangda (Mackerel) and Lobsters. The food is fresh, cleaned properly, well cooked and served hot. The taste is very unique and has that Goan flavor. Having meals in a tropical place like Goa hits different in my opinion. The Goan curry, fish, chicken, Chinese dishes were very good. The only dish I was neutral about was the chicken 65 (well cooked but didn’t tickle my taste buds). I loved the overall taste and got used to this place and ended up having lunch and dinner regularly. They serve alcohol and cold drinks too. The owner, Tata is a seasoned chef, super nice guy, friendly and a humble person. He makes good suggestions if you ask him of things to try from the menu. Many tourists and foreigners also visit this place. The place closes at noon like most restaurants in Goa and reopens in the evening until 11 pm. The rates are reasonable. Parking is available in front of the diner. Do visit Tata’s if you’re in Goa or visiting North. You’ll end up with good memories + delicious food! A good deal eh!

Any stars give are for the location and view. Overall service in the restaurant as well as rooms pulls this down. While paying 9k per night for a certain room category, this lack of service sense in staff is not acceptable. If you are ok with waiting for food at restaurant, or calling people to room multiple times for certain things, to enjoy the awesome location, go ahead and book. Detailed review below. Location: Awesome right on the beach. Beach is not too crowded. Food: ok, sometimes salt can be more, sometimes something else will be off. Had seafood chowder twice during my stay. First time it was good, second time too salty and hardly any seafood. Chilli chicken too hard outer coating. Breakfast spread left me wanting for more. Not impressive. Cost: if you book directly they should be able to give you 9k per night for normal kind (Dont rem the room category) with breakfast Property: is good. Rooms are ok not awesome, exterior is open and looks good because of the location. Maintenance average Service: all the above points to one side, service pull everything down here: right from in the restaurant where no one will look at you and you have to scream to get their attention with the music going on, to the lacking sense in the house keeping team. Called the housekeeping team twice to clean the room but to no avail. Front desk seems overworked and underpaid and lack training

Extremely pathetic property!! Specially couples who are planning their wedding should think twice before choosing this property. Ekta and the staff from reception has absolutely no respect and courtesy to talk to vendors. Inspite of the fact that we were allotted a room in the property by the bride, the resort refused to allot us parking space. We have had extremely bad experience in the past while parking at public spaces where our windshield was broken and stuff was missing from our car. The staff was not ready to listen and was adamant on only point that we have to park our car outside on the road. When we refused since we had expensive stuff, other staff from the reception joined in and continued the argument. The tone of Ekta and the security person was very shameful. The security person was unnecessarily raising his voice for no reason. We have stayed in the property as guests in the past and had similar experience. There is not enough parking for even 20 cars in the premises. Isn’t that the responsibility of the property to manage the parking space for equivalent number of rooms?? Disgusted by the behaviour of the hotel staff just because they thought it’s okay to talk to a vendor in a disrespectful manner. Would the time and choice of words be the same if it was a guest and not a vendor?? The family had to intervene in the matter and make the resort understand after which they agreed to provide the parking. They however took the car key from us and kept it on the counter unattended. I have attached the picture for the same. On confronting they security person said they are not responsible for any keys. Why take the keys if you are not responsible if it gets lost? This shouldn’t be the case in the first place. We have previously suggested this property to lot of our clients but after continuous disrespect and utter disgusting behaviour, we realised that this is not the place couple should definitely plan their biggest day. Last thing you would want on your wedding day is to fight with the resort and resolve such petty things which shouldn’t be the issue in the first place. I would like the management team at Lacabana to look into this matter and specially refrain from hiring staff like Ekta who has no basic...

A tranquil yet luxurious haven of natural beauty facing the Arabian Sea located on Goa’s widest stretch of Ashvem Beach- this is a niche boutique luxury beach resort at North Goa. On reaching the lobby a wave of serenity washes over you as you gaze out over the spectacular view of the resort with its towering coconut trees,-lush green lawns and scenic green hills as a backdrop . Whether you are travelling as a group, with family or you are an independent spirit, there is nothing more rewarding than relaxing on a beautiful golden beach listening to the comforting blue water waves lapping up against the shoreline with an in house speciality cocktail in hand, reading a good book. This is best stay. Prices are excellent, I have stayed with my wife for a weekend and honestly I am so happy we found this place. I will start from check-in. Machine in the lobby gave us our room keys. All with help of very nice, friendly and professional manager who have great as at the entrance. We felt special from the beginning to the end. Beautiful lobby with coffee and tea. Surely can make you feel like you home. The room was lovely, super clean with most comfortable bed I have ever slept on and OMG loved their pillows! Bathroom with shower, very clean. Reception was very helpful, so we have great night out as well. Also guest request lockers, if we run out of tea, coffee of milk in the room! Its really like they thought of everything to please your stay! We tried food room service as well and in 20 minutes was delivered to our room, so happy with our stay that actually was sad to leave! Receptionist who checked us out was very sweet and friendly. Overall, I had best stay ever and definitely will back there and will recommend this peace of heaven to...
