Lacto Cressida — Hotel in Goa

Lacto's Cressida is a lovely place to stay in palolem. One of the best huts with beautiful surroundings and with just a short walk to the beach. The resort has both AC and non AC rooms, whatever suits your budget. Locating it is a bit difficult as it is a little inside from the main road. But if you ask someone, they'll be happy to help. The property has so many plants and trees in its complex and around the rooms which makes it such a beautiful place to stay. The rooms are quite spacious and have an attached bathroom and toilet, all rooms have a seating area outside with two chairs, one swinging/hanging chair and a hammock. The complex is kept clean all times. They have a fridge filled with beer and water, you can take whatever you want and make an entry in a notepad kept on the reception and pay for it while checking out, this was so cool. They also have a no noise policy and like to keep the place quiet especially in the evening times. The only turn off was a full day power cut and the resort didn't have any power back up for it. And fortunately it got resolved by the time we came back to the resort to dose off. Overall, I would recommend this place if you want to...

The place is just 2 min walk from the sea. It is located a bit off the shore making our stay quiet and peaceful. The place is really well maintained and clean. The washrooms are neat with good pressure of water from all the taps and shower, better compared to few of our other stays. The garden around the room was giving us a pleasant experience. Did not notice an in house restaurant, but there are loads of them around within 5 mins walkable distance. ||||Each room has a small sit-out space at the entrance with couple of chairs, a hanging chair and a cloth hammock. Loved the arrangements made. They have AC rooms also available but it was not quite ready when we visited, hence had to cancel and book Non-AC rooms through booking app. ||||Owner was friendly...

This review is for Lacto Cressida. Person who runs it Mr Lacto is really a very good person. I would recommend him any day. He is honest, reliable, informative, resourceful and go to person When we visited South Goa in Oct 2013, Cressida guest house huts were not ready. We dint stay in his place but Mr Lacto was our trip coordinator. He picked us from Karwar in two innova and dropped us back on Madgaon railway station. He also took us to various places in Goa. His charges were always reasonable. While he was driving us to various places in Goa he told us a lot about the Goa and Goans. He had one Konkani songs CD in innova, composed and sung by some local stars, may not be very famous outside Goa. We dint know Konkani but we loved those songs as it was gelling pretty well with our holiday mood, at last Mr Lacto gave us those songs. My Lacto also took us to his own house and his Cressida Guest House, Cressida Guest House was then under construction. His huts are very close from beach 0 to 50 meters may be depends on which hut you got. Next time when I go to Goa and if he has accommodation available, i will surely stay...
