Whenever I visit palolem beach i always used to prefer this restaurant for lunch and brunch, but some recent visits are so pathetic in every sense. I visited today with wife and my daughter who is 1.5 years at 4pm. One of your staff was so rude to us. First of all he denied us for evening snacks (veg sandwich) stating that we are not serving it now. So we changed the order to cheese fritter and french fries. And asked for tea/coffee which was again rejected by the staff because of rush. We had to go to the counter to place our order. Infact the waiter took away the menu card before we could decide the order. And the heights was he told us to make our daughter sit on chair as she was playing on the table. Our daughter is just 1.5years old and when we questioned him for such behaviour he was telling us how to teach manners to our child.. Is this the way to behave with customers giving the reason that there is rush won't justify such behaviour. It is very insulting and inappropriate. Dropadi Bar and Restaurant is just next to the beach and has unsailable advantage over other restaurants in terms of view that it offers. This advantage could make some entity to get relaxed and overtime loose it's edge, however, it is not true for Dropadi. Though, I do not know why the restaurant is named as Dropadi but the food and service of the restaurant is highly satisfying. This was our second visit of the restaurant and we sticked to our favourites. We ordered for fish fingers, fish tikka and masal peanuts along with Chicken Manchow Soup. As always, fish fingers and fish tikkas were amazing. For the main course we settled for butter chicken and naans and roti. The butter chicken was regular and nothing special. I am told that they serve good sea food though I have not been able to try them. The service is fast and the staff are alert and responsive. Overall, Dropadi is among the best options that you have if you are visiting Palolem beach.It is easily reachable from the parking lot.
