Pousada Tauma — Hotel in Goa

If you are looking for a quiet place in the chaotic noisy Calangute please open the gate to POUSADA TAUMA. |A boutique hotel in very calm and silent setting. |Surrounded by tropical trees the few bungalows are arranged around the gorgeous swimming pool. |Lovely built rooms, some with separate terrace, are very comfortable. If you have breakfast on your own terrace, chirping birds and sometimes other curious animals like squirrels or mungos have a look and prepare you a happy morning start.|All the meals will be prepared by the talented chef Kevin, supported by Mathew, the main person for the round-the clock- service.|Neville, the owner and his wife Angelica, his son Joshua and all their staff are friendly, hospitable, always checking in on you. Meanwhile I’m back at home since 3 weeks but my thoughts are still at the Pousada Tauma and the Beach House.|It was my 15 th stay there and it’s really always increasing. |The beautiful garden is a jewel, year after year to see the improvement is a pleasure. |Neville is a perfect host and also the staff is attentive and helpful, also Kevin, the admirable chief, responsible for the delicious food. ||Another highlight is the Beach House, managed by Neville and Joshua, the son, supported by Sky and Bisquit, the adorable family dogs. |An unexpected peaceful place at the Calangute beach. Vorerst bei Tripadvisor gefunden war uns dennoch nicht bewusst wie sehr das Pousada unsere Erwartungen übertreffen würde. Nicht ohne Grund gebe ich diesem Ort die volle Bewertung, denn wir haben dort die herrlichsten Tage in Goa verbringen können und sind Neville, Matthew und dem Rest der super freundlichen Mitarbeiter für diese Zeit zutiefst dankbar.||||Die Hotelanlage ist mit Absicht auf wenige Suiten ausgerichtet, welche alle ihren eigenen Charakter und Thema besitzen und alle um den herrlichen und immer sauberen Pool liegen. Jeder Mitarbeiter ist äußerst zuvorkommend und man fühlt sich rundum perfekt betreut. Neville ist ein sehr kümmernder und entspannter Gastgeber, der einem freundlich hilft, wenn man Fragen oder Wünsche hat. Man befindet sich in einem gepflegten Urwald von schönstem Ausmaß und kann wirklich perfekt entspannen und die Zeit scheint stehen zu bleiben. Die Mahlzeiten und Getränken lassen nichts zu wünschen übrig und sollte man selber etwas benötigen oder abenteuerlustig sein, kann man sich selbst oder per Taxi auf den Weg begeben und die Umgebung erkunden, wo man Läden, Straßenmärkte und ein wenig Kontrast zu dem Paradies findet. Desweiteren besitzt das Pousada auch einen Privatstrand mit Restaurant und Bar, wohin man per Chauffeur gefahren wird und den herrlichen Blick auf den Strand mit einem kalten Getränk genießen kann. Auch hier ist die Betreuung einmalig spitze und jeder Besucher sollte Biscuit kraulen - der süße Strandhund vom Pousada by the Beach.||||Zudem hatten wir das Vergnügen in einer Nacht alleine im Pousada zu verweilen, da wir in der "off season" gebucht hatten und das Hotel dann nicht ausgebucht ist. Nachts am Pool zu verweilen und gemütlich Drinks zu schlürfen und den Sternenhimmel zu betrachten war somit mein persönliches Highlight. Nichtsdestotrotz war auch sonst alles ruhig und äußerst entspannend, da das Hotel ja nur wenige aber exklusive Suiten hat. ||||Um das besondere Erlebnis im Pousada zusammenzufassen benötigt man aber mehr als nur Bilder und Worte. Die Erfahrung ist also ein absolutes Muss, wenn man in Goa ist und erfahren möchte, was totale Entspannung ist.||||Many thanks to Neville, Matthew and Biscuit for a wonderful stay in paradise - coming straight from the heart.
