Review 2023: Sadly, the place is closed. No more steak, no mor cider, was very disappointed to find out. Tashi's is now taken over by German Bakery and it is doing quite well.

Review 2019: This restaurant is a HUGE reason we keep coming back to North Goa every year. Our stay here was only for a day but so worth it. We called Tashi on Saturday to check if they are open at 9am. He asked us to come at 830.

We ordered our usual steaks with mashed potatoes and pepper sauce. There was a wait time of about 45 minutes during which we had a chilled cider instead of our morning cuppa joe. DELICIOUS. Do try their homemade cider.

The servers are so cheerful and polite. I love the yellow restaurant with red tables and the sports on theTV. Lovely.

Review 2018: Went back for more steak! Was not disappointed. The quantities are HUGE. Two of us could not finish two plates, so the next time round, we ordered just one plate of fish and chips and we still could not finish up! It's amazing, the food.

We went in at 9am asking if they serve steak because that's what I wanted and nowhere else in Calangute was offering anything other than a breakfast menu- it was off season. They not only said they had anything on the menu, the waiter offered to cook me anything I liked! Such a great start to the day!

Try the cider, looks like it's the only place in Goa that serves cider now.
