Curries bar & restaurant — Restaurant in Goa

We visited this place after going through all the reviews , We are basically from Pune and we’re looking out for great restaurants near by our villa .

So to be frank it took them 1.5hours to serve us just a plate of veg noodles ! All the orders placed, came very late ! And the quantities served were not as ordered ! There was just one staff looking after all the customers at the restaurant , because of which he was super confused ! After all the billing , the waiter comes and tell us ; payment kaha hua hai karke jao in a very very rude manner ! After clearing all the payments they say it’s ur duty to show us the payment , and all the staff started talking rudely ! They dint even apologise for being this rude ! I too work in a service department , and the only thing that’s taught till the end is to RESPECT YOUR CLIENT !

This is a very good restaurant in terms of the food and service. I ate there several times during my visit there, each and every time the food was made to order and very tasty. The food either it be Goan or Continental was really flavourful and as authentic as it can get. They even have locally made breads like "pui". The staff is well trained and helpful. The owner Nicolas is usually around. He is jolly and pretty knowledgeable about the food and the local area, he made some awesome suggestions. Should definitely try their cafreal and the burgers. The bar is pretty well stocked with various options in all segments and the drinks are well priced. All in all one of the few good places...

I have to start with the food because it was soooo yummy. The chicken steak and beef steak were the stars. It's a must try if you visit here. Everything is decent priced. The fried rice and chilly chicken were great. Lemon chicken was a little too sour for my taste but it was good too.

The only thing I would want to suggest is that don't bring the dishes one by one. Our chilly chicken got over before the chapati or the fried rice arrived. And we couldn't order anymore as the kitchen got closed.

Other than that they have a open roofed main area of the restaurant and an open air beautiful place on the side. There's a snooker table there as well. Great...
