The phrase "Don't judge a book by its cover", fits like a glove to this place. I travelled with a group of 5 other friends and we discovered this gem of a place my a happy accident. Our crapy Hotel (Named Comfort Villa) did not provide us with tea or coffee so we had to scout the neighborhood for some good place to have our breakfast and tea. And this was right around the corner. On the outside it doesn't look mych but the looks don't do justice to the taste and service of this place.The fish preparations here are exquisite and are prepared from the catch of the day. We feasted on the Shark Xacuti, Pomfret fry, Kingfish goan curry and rice. The vegetarian options are also amazing. Everything is made to order, piping hot and fresh. Even for breakfast, items like pohe are prepared from scratch. The owner of this place Mr. Vishal Mandrekar personally looks into preparations and tastes all the spices and recipies everyday. He also gives personal attention and share stories of how Calangute changed over the years. As a person who is born and raised in the same lane where this eatery is located he has some great insights on what to do and where to do activities in Goa. He can also help with great rooms and rented vehicles. I have saved the best for the last, all yhe proceeds from this small enterprise are used for noble causes in and around Goa. This is a must visit place if one wants to relish the delicacies and taste of home cooked...

We were searching for a hotel or some food points near our stay at 12:00am and we found this masterpiece.food was prepared in no time and served hot with love and care .Met the owner Jeevan bhayya who is working in the police department and the income that they get through this food point goes to charity as remembrance of their late Mother.
