Quinta Serena Holiday Resort — Hotel in Goa

Booked it for 3 nights for my wedding. Had relatives coming from all over the world. Had mentioned that we would be 22 of us which obviously means their 8 rooms wouldn’t be enough and we would need to provide us mattresses. The mattresses provided were as flat as a chappati, if any of my guests had to sleep on it would have surely woke up with a backache. Luckily the caretaker arranged for new ones. Apart from location there is nothing good about this place. Below is detailed explanation of my 3 days at this resort. Day 1 - I had pre wedding ceremony and none of their service was available as their owner had his own birthday party on the other side of the resort and all the staff was focusing on that side. No chef was available for that day. We still managed on our own. While the party was on the worker came to me and asked to stop the music on the big speaker and asked to play on some small speaker if available. Guess what we had cops come and take the speaker and our wonderful manager was in a fix as he dint collect anyone’s IDs 😂the speaker was returned the next day. The owner of the place had no control over the situation and was left to us to deal with the cops.

Day 2 - The biggest day of my life when I am getting married and guess what there was a phase cut due to which I got dressed up in goa’s heat without an AC. I happened to somehow get ready and sit in my car with the AC on.

Day 3 - Relaxed day. My mom asked for tea in the evening, and guess what the worker says that they don’t have tea leaves. I mean seriously?? I booked the place considering the facilities you have, I know you have a kitchen and when needed I can order things what is on your menu and you say you don’t have tea leaves?? I got furious and went and spoke to the manager who later arranged for tea but took too long.

Overall, pathetic experience. The rooms had some issue or the other. Water from the shower flowing all over the bathroom, geyser not working, commode was shaky etc. To top it off, my relatives heard noises in the night, my sis heard noise behind the mirror. I mean I don’t believe in it, but they felt the place was haunted.

I would rate this palace in negative if there was an option specially after the price they charge without...

We recently stayed at Quinta Serena Holiday Resort, and while the property has a serene charm and great potential, several areas need improvement to truly offer a pleasant guest experience.||A special shoutout to Abhishek and his team – they were incredibly supportive and helpful throughout our stay. Their effort was one of the highlights and deserves recognition.||That said, the resort has a long way to go regarding maintenance and hospitality. Basic amenities like a refrigerator in the rooms are missing, which was quite inconvenient. We also faced issues with pool cleanliness – when we requested it to be cleaned, we were told that "leaves will fall again," which honestly felt dismissive.||Meals, including breakfast, were a challenge. Either availability was an issue or the cleanliness of the kitchen area left a lot to be desired. If you offer an open kitchen, it’s essential to keep it clean, organized, and odor-free.||The rooms were acceptable in terms of hygiene, but overall, the resort really needs to step up its game in both maintenance and guest service experience. Our stay at the property was very pleasant and comfortable. Right from the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a friendly atmosphere. The property was well-maintained, and the overall environment was peaceful and welcoming, making it a great place to relax and unwind.||The staff played a big role in making our experience enjoyable. Everyone was polite, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Their positive attitude and attentiveness made us feel at home throughout our stay.
