Our family had a truly memorable stay at Storii Shanti Morada in Saligao. From start to finish, the experience was seamless, personal, and heartwarming.||We stayed in a spacious second-floor room overlooking the pool. The room was beautifully decorated, well-equipped, and comfortable for a family of four. The balcony offered a peaceful view of the pool without any noise. The bathroom was thoughtfully designed and stocked with everything we needed. A lovely personal touch was the soaked almonds kept by our bedside each day.||The location is unique — in the quiet, quaint village of Saligao, away from the crowded touristy areas, yet close enough to reach North Goa beaches and attractions. Driving through the heritage lanes to reach this restored Portuguese bungalow (with just 20 rooms) itself set the tone for a calm and special holiday. The whole bungalow is filled with heritage and vintage décor pieces that add character and charm, and the lounges are beautifully done, making it a delight to simply sit back and soak in the atmosphere.||What impressed us most was the outstanding hospitality:| • Divya from the front desk reached out even before our trip to confirm details and arranged a smooth late-night airport pickup. During our stay, she guided us on what to avoid and what to explore in North Goa — advice that turned out to be absolutely perfect and saved us from tourist traps.| • Chef Narendra and Chef Ajay went out of their way to understand our preferences and served delectable meals that felt both comforting and gourmet.| • The restaurant team, especially Sagar, Prince, Rakesh, and others (whose names we unfortunately forget), were exceptionally kind, attentive, and warm in their service.| • Housekeeping was excellent — prompt, attentive, and thoughtful at every step.| • A special mention to Mr. Arpit, the General Manager, who spent quite some time with us talking about the place and other things and personally ensured everything was taken care of and even surprised our kids with Baskin Robbins ice creams when he learned they loved it — such a heart-touching gesture.||The pool was a huge hit with our children, and the extended made-to-order breakfast was a blessing for families. The in-house cab service was reliable, not just for airport transfers but also for sightseeing, which made our travel hassle-free.||The only disadvantage is that if you don’t have your own car, you are dependent on the cab service to get around. Some drivers tend to be reluctant to go to crowded tourist areas or places with heavy traffic, which can be a bit limiting at times.||Every detail — from the heritage charm of the property to the genuine warmth of the staff — made this stay unforgettable. Storii Shanti Morada is not just a hotel, it feels like a home where every guest is cared for personally.||Highly recommended for families or anyone looking for a serene, heritage-rich, and truly hospitable...
Read moreWe stayed here for my daughter’s birthday (August 2022) for a couple of nights (after staying 3 nights at the Taj). The entire team made my daughter feel extremely special on her birthday, loved every moment of our stay @ Storii.
It’s a breathtaking property, and the service is unbelievably great, never can a 100 or 200 room hotel provide the levels of intimate service that was offered here. We’re truly spoilt now, don’t think we’l ever stay anywhere else while we’re Goa.
Their Operations Manager Mr Arpit Bhola is amazing, one of the very best in the business, at all times we felt welcomed and looked after but not once we felt that he overstayed his welcome. He helped us with literally everything, right from the tour of the property to Check-In and even till we Checked-out he was always there with a big smile. He is someone who made a very big difference in the overall experience as we felt very well looked after throughout our stay @ Storii by ITC. I hope his seniors are taking a note of this because you should always hold on to an asset like that. Arpit Thank You for wonderful hospitality man. Can’t wait to stay @ Storii again. Taniya the Guest Relationship Manager is also great and mingled with our daughter.
Pros :
All rooms are pool facing.
All rooms have bathtubs (trust me hardly any property in North Goa has bathtubs in this price range).
Very spacious, bright and big rooms.
Extremely personal and intimate level of service (which larger hotels even the ones run by ITC can’t offer).
Their Jacuzzi/Pool Bar is extremely nice (we like to go out a lot while travelling and even we ended up spending an entire evening there and had a great time).
Although I covered great service but the team is so great that it requires another mention. Right from Operations Manager Arpit to Taniya Biswas who’s a Guest Relationship Manager to their head chef Narendra Ji and the whole service staff is great. They cater to all your requests with a smile on their faces.
If you’re planning your Goa trip just book this and you’l thank me later. The whole team is so great they truly made a lasting impression.
P.S - People who are wheelchair bound or with limited mobility should speak to the property before make a...
Read moreWe stayed here from 6th Jan 2023 to 9th Jan 2023. We loved it so much that both me and my wife made a point to write separate reviews for this place. Location: Before booking this place, please set your expectations straight. This place is 4-5 km from the nearest beaches. So, if you are looking for that kind of vibe, this place is not for you. However, if you want great service, great food, quite place with quick access to beaches away from hustle bustle of the beach, Storii is amazing. Service: Staff is polite, generous, attentive and very helpful. They made sure that my toddler was comfortable here. They even packed some fruits for him on the day of our departure as we were leaving quite early in the morning. Since it was his birthday, they made sure to have some decorations and cake for him, which was really great. Room: Room was big and clean. Bed was comfy. They made the point of cleaning the room and changing the used towels and bed sheets unless you specifically tell them not to. TV channels are limited though and there are minor connectivity issues. Washrooms are BIG!! I turned on amazon prime and binge watched a few episodes of Jack Ryan in the bath tub. 🤣🤣😅😅 Food: We were planning to have Breakfast (which was inclusive) and dinner in the hotel and have lunch outside. However, the food was so good that we had all our meals here only. But again, please set your expectations. If you try something like Storii Box which include Goan food, you might not like it because it's something different. That doesn't mean it's bad. It just you might not enjoy it. But if you stick to what you know you like, you will love the food here. Chef was generous enough to accommodate my wife's request for veg kofta and missi roti which is not there in the menu. The menu for breakfast is not that extensive but it covers most of the things. I don't have any complaints. I will definitely recommend this place especially if you have kids. Finally, just want to thank Mr. Arpit, Mr. Jayvant, Ms. Vishanti, Mr. Laltu, Chef Narendar and everyone else for making our stay...
