If you love animals this is the place for you. Margaret, Victor and family are the ‘Doolittles’ of Calangute. Locals bring them injured or sick animals to care for, and the atmosphere is just one of friendliness and caring, it’s fantastic, the best place to stay in Calangute. ||From the moment you book to the welcome you receive when you arrive from the family and staff, including the animals, is fantastic, they can’t do enough for you.||The rooms are large, airy and spotless, we were even provided with cooking facilities so we could make breakfast, which was fantastic as we had a fridge so we could keep food, and we took breakfast sitting on the large balcony overlooking the sports ground. ||We also had a/c, great satellite channels, and internet access in our room. ||The location is also great, literally 5 minutes from the beach and even less to numerous good restaurants, but it’s off the main road so it’s quiet. ||Everything is great but the best bit is the owners Margaret and Victor and their lovely family/staff, and their small zoo, makes it the best, they are so friendly and welcoming - I wanted to steal Jenny the ‘Watch Pug’ who sits guard at the gate...😁, when you speak to her she starts to snort and dance the ‘Jenny Shuffle’, she’s adorable. And then there’s Sonny the tiny Squirrel/Chipmunk who runs around snooker table and disappears into the pockets, so so cute 🐿||I can’t recommend the Vailankanni enough, it’s now my place in Calangute, can’t...

We stayed for 3 nights in this month 8th to 11th Nov, 2018. Room was good with TV & Fridge, Football ground facing balcony, average bathroom. They don,t hv any arrangement for morning Tea & BF. 2 restaurant booklet they provided us but they want minimum Rs. 300/- order to served in the room. It is totally ridiculous to pay Rs.300/- for one cup tea, even they refused to delivery bf at 9.00 AM. Power backup is not good, in hot weather, we hv going through sleepless night for 2 days. Lot of mosquitoes, for that you r not able to open the window. They don't hv a room service, we hv forced to stay without room service for 4 days. At last day, we are not even allowed by them to stay for extra one hour & for that i unnecessarily spent Rs. 1800/-. God bless them. I think, if you taken money from someone you should be responsible to deliver a good service as you promised. I also request all of you, who are posted their review, plz be truthful. Otherwise someone may be suffer as we are. Thanking you....

Been there with my family and friends. Stayed for five nights. Experience was quite fantastic. We were total three family stayed in three rooms. All rooms were in perfectly arrange while check inn. Service provided by Mr. Victor & Margaret Madam was above par as compared what we paid. Rooms were specious enough for a family, having all facilities. They guided us throuly about location which we were planning. Also managed a cab as well scooter as when we needed without any personal interest or I can say even in economical rates. Also they guide us for pure vegetarian restaurants nearby. Location of the premises is very close to market as well beach. Never find any difficulty to approach anything which we require. || Definitely suggest to any person who wants feel like home. And they are true to it.|| Surely...
