The reception requested me to write a review and hence here we go I stayed here with a friend of mine. There r goods and bads which I have listed below ; Goods: the property is nice, rooms are nice. King size duplex has a private terrace with nice lights Titos lane is within a km. Bads: No hot water anywhere. They claim that there is a geyser and we kept the geyser switch on as well but didn’t get any hot water. ( I realised later that the room next to us had a geyser in the balcony but we didn’t so that solved the mystery of no hot water) There is a hot tub but it takes 4 to 6 hours for it to get filled so pls prep ur schedule, also no hot water so basically it’s not a “hot” tub as such. Don’t expect any water given to u in ur rooms.. u need to get the bottles by urself Food: this is a major problem we had .. I understand there is no complimentary breakfast but atleast the restaurant should open by 8. It opens at 9.30 am and after that they take 45 mins to get you even one lime juice or a cup of tea Management: overall was ok ok management and felt it can do better. Reason is, there was a group of men who were sitting till midnight at the restaurant and were being a bit loud and kinda creating nuisance. We noticed that manager was sitting right there and wasn’t intervening at all. This was a bit disappointing. Of course we chose to eat at our room to avoid that atmosphere. It is cause of this nuisance that our food was delivered to us after an hour or more post ordering it as well. But we feel that in such scenarios Managers should intervene and handle the crowd or else how would any females especially feel safe around there. All in all I would say once again that good property but definitely service needs to be...
Read moreCame here with two friends. We believed the room was nice and clean so paid, they don’t take card so you have to pay in cash. Our second day there we found a cockroach running around, from day one the shower also refused to drain properly and left a pool of water.
In the morning, nice acoustic music is played from a speaker outside but as it gets to about 10am it changes to the same playlist of a woman singing covers of songs from 2015. Every 30 minutes the playlist loops and it goes on well into the night. These annoying LOUD remixes and covers can be heard from outside the hostel itself, even over the coinciding loud noises of the main road next to it.
The pool looked like it was filled with sand and was cloudy.
I’d recommend this place if you were in a pinch and still wanted to be near Baga beach. The rooms were clean and spacious but everything else really lowered the...
Read moreI visited WTF in December during the Christmas time and were a group of 13. We were lucky to get this place in the right time at the right price since post that the prices went up in the travel sites.|Of course the name is the most fun part and it becomes even better when you know that it stands for food. |The pros:|- nice cosy accommodation right in the middle of Baga|- excellent food at anytime during the day|- great service by Sanjay and Susanto|- a very nice host by Amrit who’s heading it|- quite close to the beach - 2 min walk ||What not to expect:|- it’s not “on” the beach, so you shouldn’t go thinking that you would be on the beach if u just stepped out|- it’s right on the road, so don’t expect to be secluded or away from the hustle bustle, if so, then choose a south Goa place or midway, at Candolim.||This was my 5th trip to Goa and I can definitely say WTF made it...
