UNFORGETTABLE, IMMERSIVE, MAJESTIC & SPECTACULAR VIEW OF THE HIMALAYAS & ITS VALLEY !!!!!
During my recent visit in the 1st week of February, 2024 to this idyllic destination, I had the opportunity to experience the charm and hospitality of this boutique hotel firsthand, and I must say, it left an indelible mark on my heart Perched at an altitude that provides stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, the hotel offers breathtaking views of the majestic Himalayan ranges.
LOCATION :- Echor Himalayan Heights is not at a walkable distance from Manali Mall Road. The distance between the hotel and the mall road is around 3 kms. It is at a drivable distance of 10 mins which means it takes around 10 mins to drive by a car from manali manll road upto the hotel, depending on traffic jams.
ACCOMODATION:- Our room category at Echor Himalayan Heights was Deluxe room with balcony & mountain view, which is designed to provide utmost comfort along with modern amenities and elegant furnishings. The rooms are very spacious, with a big king sized bed which was very comfortable, a sofa cum bed for extra accomodation, along with desk, chair, cupboard and a big tower heater exuding a cozy ambiance. The highlight, however, is undoubtedly a big balcony, & the panoramic views of the surrounding mountains through a huge floor to ceiling window, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the breathtaking scenery, that offer uninterrupted vistas of the majestic Himalayas, providing the perfect setting for moments of introspection and relaxation. The bathroom was also spacious with all the toiletries provided along with clean towels and 24 hours hot water.
FACILITIES:- The hotel boasts a range of facilities catering to the needs of its guests, from a garden to walk around to well-equipped game room to an outdoor swimming pool where guests can unwind and soak in the tranquil atmosphere while enjoying the picturesque views.
SERVICE:- The hotel provides an impeccable service e.g. on the day of checking in the hotel we were late because it was snowing in manali, the temperature was -15 c and there was a feet of snow on the road, so the reception called about the time of our arrival and to our surprise when we entered the hotel our room was ready and warm because they switched on the heaters even before our arrival to make our room warm and cozy.
FOOD/DINING :- We indulged ourselved in a hearty breakfast buffet & a dinner buffet which we included while booking. The food was very flavorsome, delightful and homely. everyone should opt for their brerakfast and dinner buffet for a wholesome experience. Breakfast buffet items:- tea, apple juice, pineapple juice, cut fruits, veg sandwich, normal bread, toasted bread, butter/jam, omellete, chole bhature. (few items changed everyday like aloo paratha instead of chole bhature) Dinner buffet items:- soup, salad, papad, butter tandoori roti, steamed rice, panner butter masala, mixed veg, chicken curry, sooji ka halwa. (2 veg curries and chicken and desert is fixed but the flavours and items changed everyday)
Cons:- the only con that i could find was that we travelled in the 1st week of February and it snowed a lot, we had a 13 seater tempo traveller as our ride which struggled to reach the hotel becuase of the snow covered road. 4x4 cars or suv are best suited here in the month of january and february when there is a lot...

We had the worst experience with Echor Himalayan Heights, Manali on 28th Feb 2025. We had it booked through our Holiday Partner for 28th Feb as it was our anniversary and we we were looking forward to our stay at this Hotel. However, because of heavy snowfall one night prior in Manali and as we were in Vashist, Manali (which is only 6-7 km from Echor), we were not able to travel to Echor. And although, we explained them the entire situation of heavy snowfall and that even 4x4 were not moving because it was taking at least 4-5 hours in traffic jam and also because we had our kid with us who is just 1.5 years old, we thought it was not wise to travel and then get stuck in between. But to our surprise and thanks to their pathetic customer service, they didn’t understand our point and said, that people have been visiting them (it would not matter to them how they are reaching or what are the circumstances). Even though the same morning their customer service representative herself told that it was not possible to visit their location because there is around 3-4 ft of snow and that no one is visiting them and no cars are moving and they are completely stuck.
And even after repeatedly explaining them our situation and also had it explained through our holiday partner, still they didn’t listen and remained stuck with their decision of neither cancelling our booking nor rescheduling it by one day.
We had also booked our dinner buffet with them as it was mandatory to book it along with the stay at the hotel by paying extra Rs. 1100/- apart from the room which was booked at the price of approx Rs. 4000/-. So clearly they robbed us of our money and our peace of mind. As it was our anniversary that day, we spent the entire day talking to them on this matter since morning till evening, so it ruined our entire day and experience with them.
I never had such a bad experience with any hotel or stay in my entire life till now. The customer service managers were not only rude and failed to understand our issue and pain, rather they didn’t have any empathy at all for their customers.
I would again say, it was the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! And I will never ever recommend anyone to stay at their hotel.
Please refrain from booking with them...

Pros: Great view. Value for money. Hospitable staff. Pool Access
Cons: Basic rooms lack some essential amenities like AC Limited parking space (only for 4 cars). Average breakfast with limited options. Took the room rent in advance, although it's okay but good hotels usually take it at checkout.
