Hotel Japika Inn by Hazel Hotels — Hotel in Great Himalayan Range

Hello Everyone, Absolutely Japika Inn is an outstanding hotel perfectly hotel located. Helpful, friendly staff who go above and beyond to make sure you have the best time. It was my birthday during our stay, which we had not mentioned, but they obviously saw that at the check in. It was a lovely suprise when they left a wonderful cake with beautiful message in card in the room! Also an excellent breakfast buffet. We will definetely come back with friends and I would highly recommend this hotel.

Without doubt one of the favorite hotels I stayed during my time in manali! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and manager, as my hotel was prebooked our names were mentioned in the book and we were upgraded to the family Suite. The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant very flexible (appreciate this!) and the restaurant supervisor deserves a special thanks. We had two great evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience.

The second day we did a village trekking which was guided by sanjay, who works as a service guy in the hotel as well. Sanjay is such a warm personality and highly motivated guide (recommendable!). I truly enjoyed walking the three of us through the village. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment.

Note, this is not a 4/5-star hotel or so, but the atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me. All respect for the general manager who does a great job here; a true sample of excellent hospitality!

Great Hospitality....... It’s a great...

First of all, the hotel is located at a walkable distance from Hidimba temple as well as the Mall road, so the location is nice... The rooms are pretty average.. The bathrooms certainly needs some upgrade... Options for complimentary breakfast and dinner are less compared to other places... Only vegetarian options are served in complimentary breakfast and dinner... The other food items which are available on order basis are way too expensive... 2 Egg curry certainly should not cost 220 rupees... We booked a 4×4 car for Solang Valley through the hotel manager the night before and the car was supposed to pick us up from our hotel at 8 AM... We had to make the whole payment of the car ride in advance... We got ready early in the morning as we were supposed to get picked up by 8 AM... But the Car did not come for hours... Upon enquiry with the hotel manager we got to know that the car that was supposed to pick us up has picked up other passengers on the road and left for Solang Valley as there was some traffic jam... Neither the Car driver's mobile number was provided to us nor there was any confirmation on when he will reach our hotel, so we had no idea what was going on... After Waiting for nearly 4 hours, we had to ask them for refund and we checked out from the hotel as it was already past 12 PM and we had no other options to go or...

Its pet friendly 3 star hotel. Yes, we saw their pet dog and cat freely wandering in and around kitchen and dining hall. We sat in the dining hall for our dinner, the dog came quite close to our table, staring at us, sniffing as if everything is in order, nodded heavily and released some fur. Thank God, our food didn’t arrived yet. I opposed angrily with the receptionist. Then he almost pulled it out from the place. We had to stay for two days, but we completely avoided going to their restaurant hall. Either we had it outside, or room service. This very serious concern about the hygiene of the guests. Location is near Hidimba temple, rooms quite ordinary, whole hotel was empty, except us, old furniture, our room main doors quite heavily tight, but balcony doors were quite free to open, non renovated, may be covid effect, food was good, but overall disappointed. They have excuses ready for our every complaints, so gave up. Rooms have windows and balconies, but no privacy, construction work is going in front of this hotel, that blocks complete outside views, one has to keep closed and curtains cover always.
