Mallu Singh Manali — Hotel in Great Himalayan Range

I don't know why there are so much positive reviews, I have trusted the reviews and opted their Manali Package of 6000/- , Our expectations was huge before we are reaching there... Positives we felt - The bus service(was on-time, neat) , rooms, food, hotel staff's behavior - was good and we were very much satisfied. But their outdoor sight seeing activities & their driver's attitude - very sad to say - That is very very pathetic.

I have visited many places in India - But never faced such an issues....

Their driver(Rakesh) picked us from the bus stand & on the way - there was a road block. He told us to walk the remaining distance. When I am checking the distance on google map, It is 2.5 kms from the current location. I am surprised why he is said like that to the guests who traveled more than 2000 kms. At-last he dropped us on the hotel. As per the itinerary - First day was local sight seeing - Their driver was dropped us on Hadimba temple & told us to come back in 1 hour . He started calling and irritating us after one hour by saying like there are so many places to visit. Then he dropped us near Mall road and left after spotting 2-3 near local places. After visiting all these we just walked to Old Manali area (Appx 2kms) . He again called us at 5:30 pm and told us to come back & He was not able to drop us, he was just annoying us for we visited there. We were in trouble without getting their support to reach hotel. Finally I used to call their manager for arranging the pickup. The drivers that they are arranging is not at all helpful, I wished to visit few nearby local places which i knew from certain vlogs - but these people are not at all ready to go there. They are arranging the sight seeing activities with pure money minded only. People who visiting Manali without any idea of the places may feel happy. But we.......!!!!!!! I don't know people who are acquiring their package are experiencing the exact beauty of Manali. The snow activities they have arranged at Solang valley was over priced & they are claiming that - that was the best rate for Mallu Singh's guests. The funniest thing is - these activities are not on the top of Solang valley. Never ever opt the activities that they arranging from their counters. You will get best rates at top. People who are visiting Solang valley - Please visit the top as well. Try to experience the cable car. These guys even wont inform you about there is such an activity by Himachal Tourism of 700/- head & that was very worthy. On the last day - That was another waste day - Activities in Kullu are closed now & package rate remains the same. We can't do anything in Kullu. Still we found some places in Kullu - But again the driver was not suppose to drop there. Finally we used to call their manager to visit those.

These are few incidents only - I am not in a mind to post everything here.

I don't know whether their owner Nandhan Bhai is knowing these things. We have opted Mallu Singh with huge expectations, but totally disappointed & felt like wasted the money. We enjoyed the other days in Himachal without any packages just by watching vlogs & inquiring with locals. Even in the package days - Locals helped us to find best places. There are so many hotels in Manali - But still people from Kerala opting you by expecting a special care. Please don't be so much money minded.

We had choosen mallu singh Holidays for our Manali Trip. We were faced some communication issues with this agency. Until the last moment they hid the reality of situation regarding travel from Delhi to Manali. Only when we reached Delhi they said all volvo services are closed because of road issues. Till that day they claimed everything was ok with travel via bus even though manali was affected by floods. On the day we arrived they offered to arrange a taxi for us but for extra payment of 31% of origina package. They claimed bus services were running normaly untill the day we arrived but later we found out from people in Delhi and manali that bus services to Manali had stopped months before due to flood. They only provide 2 day dinner and breakfast for 3 day stay. Rohtang is not included in this package..if you like to go there.. you need to pay extra. We had to pay extra 18% of original payment for this. In total we inccured extra payment of 50% of originaly agreed amount. The rooms provided are average room. Food is good. The stay is situated at a walking distance...

We went to Manali in October and stayed there for 3 days at Mallu Singh. Such a lovely host families in the homestay. Amazing hospitality. Perhaps the best holiday ever. Great people. Lovely place to stay and visit. All accommodation was clean and comfortable. It was very well organised and have no complaints about mallu Singh. The most attractive thing about them is their food was delicious. I had an unforgettable experience from there. I lost my gold ring from there, but i wasn’t aware of that. When we got off after the trip, we had just arrived near the market and Raveesh brother immediately called me and told me to stop the car so they brought me the ring from there. It’s so kind of them . I wouldn’t have gotten that ring if it had been somewhere else. I will be grateful to both of you Raveeshettan and Prasanthettan. This ring was precious for me. Feel like family❤️ I highly recommend Mallu Singh to other people. The trip was wonderful and had a lot of beautiful memories I found the service and response of Mallu Singh is excellent. Love...
