TRIBHAV Rohtang Heights Resort — Hotel in Great Himalayan Range

The hotel is good and the view is amazing. I wish I could give 5 star rating but that couldn't happen because of the staff. We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. We checked in the hotel on 11th of Nov 2021 and we found that we were no getting hot water, we called up the house keeping people and they told there is an issue and it would take 10mins to fix. After 10 mins we got the water and we were good. Next day morning again we had a problem with water and we waited for sometime and we got the water. Same day evening we faced the issue, we waited for more than 20 mins and we didn't get the water, we called up the house keeping people, a person arrives and we told him the scenarios and he was not ready to listen to the problem rather he started talking in a very harsh tone by raising his voice. Later he told he would check, and 5 different people got into our room to check the issue at different time. We went to the reception and complained and the in charge person came to check the issue but again this was not in a polite way. The 2 men there started shouting and raising their tones on my husband, we just asked them to change our room since the issue with water was repeating (since the person responsible told that the issue is only happening in the room we were in). At last after a long discussion they changed our rooms.

Here the concern was not on the room and nor the hot water for that instance, it was about the way the Guests are treated. I did not like the way they behaved, they could have been polite and respectful than shouting at us (Myself and my Husband).

Will make sure that I would not recommend your Hotel for any of our circle. Deeply regret the inconvenience caused...

Rooms: 4 | Service: 2 | Location: 4 Rooms: The executive rooms are good with great views. However they are not centrally heated. The hotel charges 500 per night to provide a heater. Service: Pathetic. The linens (both towels & bedsheets) were not changed upfront for three days straight, despite asking for it in the morning while leaving out for the day. The same linen is nearly tucked for the bed with same towels wrapped. Had a spat with the manager and got them changed on third day. Toileteries/Soap not provided untill asked. Bottles not refilled until asked.

Nearby activities: Solang Valley is close and so are all activities/sight seeing places in Manali

Food and drinks: The menu is very limited and quite repetitive across our stay there for 3 nights.. For a non-veg buffet, there will be just one chicken curry but tastes decent. The same chicken curry recipe is served on two continuous days (dhaniya chicken on first two days) and then some other chicken on third day. For deserts, there is only semiya served but the main ingredient is changed over three days (vermicilli, bansi, Sago). The same is served for breakfast too over three days. While the options are very limited and repetitive, you could pick one dish which tastes good and be done for the day.

Rohtang Heights: loved the stay! Overall:5/5 Rohtang Heights was one of my most enjoyed stay. In terms of the location, service, rooms, ambience, decor, food...everything!! Location:5/5 5 mnts walk from Manali bus station, and walkable distance from Mall road, this hotel is located appropriately for travellers staying overnight. A little climb above the road also gives you the peace and quiet needed for enjoying the roar of Beas, in stone throwing distance.
