Renest River Country Resort, Manali — Hotel in Great Himalayan Range

Our recent stay at the Renest River Country resort - manali was excellent, and I would personally recommend it to family and couple travelers. The location is ideal for exploring city. The staff were polite, always smiling, friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and clean and very nicely maintained. In the year 2015 we visited this Hotel first time and our experience was wonderful. So we have repeated our stay this year March 2025 and believe me it was just same experience - one word EXCELLENT!!

Location: The hotel's proximity to Mall road made exploring the area very convenient.

Staff: The front desk staff, especially Mr. Nishant and Ms. Khovindra, were exceptionally helpful and accommodating during my stay.

Rooms: The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and provided a comfortable space to relax after a day of activities and sightseeing.

FOOD: I appreciated the breakfast, lunch and dinner found it to be a great addition to my stay. Food was tasty. Good food options are available for kids also. You may trust one of the oldest trustworthy and loyal employee Mr Somnath (F & B Manager). I met him in 2015 for the first time and this time I met him again. He is kind hearted and very helpful person.

Hi I am an australian that made my booking with Renest River months in advance.The policy was to pay at the hotel.I got a very good deal on booking.com so i called the hotel today and mentioned that I just want to confirm if you received my email which i sent early morning at 7.50 am and when i called them it was 5.00pm.Sumeet Sharma who is the duty manager dont even know which email i am talking about. Afterwards he told me that he will cancel my booking which i made on booking.com as the price is low.But when i check they were trying to take full payment on my credit card which my bank didnt allow.When i called them they mentioned even the direct booking that i made with them i need to make full payment months prior as our date is Dec 2024 and there was no such thing mentioned to me before.On tripadvisor Sumeet Sharma is saying thats the hotel policy for advance payment but i have formal email from Nishant Kaushal who is also a duty manager stating that payment will be done at the property. Also reverting the double booking, I called the hotel to cancel one of them and then Sumeet Sharma so called MANAGER said the price was low. GREEDY!!!!!! You just want more money knowing that we are from abroad and you also mentioned that they dont need people from abroad as they are more interested in people coming for their honeymoon!!!!Seriously!!! I planned trip to Manali with my wife who was pregnant and the reason for trip was because we both loved this place and we could not stop us from being here but I was afraid of any odds in my mind. After reaching here I straight came to this hotel as I have already stayed here in my 2019 trip and this hotel was pretty familiar to me. After reaching here I found that the this experience was much better then I expected as whole staff was already friendly but this time their behavior was much more warm and supportive. I wanted to work from this place and I told them about my concern for internet speed and they reacted so fast on this and with no less then an hour they changed (upgraded from deluxe to suite) just so that I can get better speed. The response was so great that i could not tell. I felt so privileged here and the response of GM of this property (Sudhanshu Rathee) was that “Sir feel at home.” This was the great experience specially when you are so far away from home. Also, I cant forget to mention food here. Its so tasty and hygienic that I stayed here for approx 10 days and everyday I had breakfast and dinner here. Also if we wanted some customization in the food like taste or anything then chef was always ready and responded happily. The best part you will always hear ‘Yes’ here in all the things they can do for you. Hotel is so luxurious, hygienic, safe and cozy that I will always want to stay here.
