The Ghar, Manali | Boutique Stay — Hotel in Great Himalayan Range

Hi! We recently stayed at this property and had a great experience. So here is my detail review about this property.

Location: The location matters for a place which is located at the mountains and hence would give 4.5 out 5. Its a bit of streching required to reach at the property but that’s what the amazing part is once you reach to see the views from the balcony.

Rooms: Rooms are well lit up, spacious and all necessary things are there like coffee, tea, geyser, work table, wardrobe, etc. There is no TV, Aircon or Fan as i believe you don’t need these things at a place like “Manali”. At least we didn’t felt the need for it.

Food: The food is home made, good in taste and fresh as well. Though you should expect 15-30 mins to get it serve as it takes time. If you plan it well, you will get the food served in time.

Ambience & Views: There is a common sit out on the first floor, where all the guests in the property can interact with each other. You get to know more about the local food, market, places etc through the interaction. There are board games, guitar, books, etc whichever suits your mood to sit back and relax, view amazing mountains from the large wooden window. During our stay we had a great session of singing hit songs of “Lucky Ali” with the guests as Shaurya was playing guitar.

If the sky is clear then in the evenings you can also opt for bon fire and have dinner down below.

Host & Staff: Mr. Shaurya was very helpful during our stay. He has a good hands on with the local sight seeing and can manage to get you transportation if required. Ask him about his favourite places to eat and he will give you great options. He plays great guitar and if you request him he will do it for you.

The staff is very very helpful and always ready to listen and solve your queries related to the rooms, food or other requests.

The location of property is almost central. Mall road is 10-15 mins drive. You can go for local sight seeing.

I also must commend the manager, Shourya, for his exceptional professionalism and willingness to assist with anything we needed. His cooperative attitude and attention to detail truly set the standard for service excellence.

And let's talk about the food – it was nothing short of extraordinary! Every meal was a culinary delight, with flavors that tantalized the taste buds and left us craving more. From traditional dishes to innovative creations, each bite was a testament to the skill and passion of the chefs at The Ghar.

But perhaps the highlight of our stay was getting to meet Snow, the property's adorable dog. His playful antics and affectionate nature added an extra layer of charm to our experience and left a lasting impression on our hearts.
