Comfort Inn Prince hotel — Hotel in Gujarat

We booked a premium room using 16K choice points 4 months in advance. We called the property at the time of booking as well as 3 days before the arrival date to make sure the booking is good. Upon reaching the hotel they told us that they cannot accept booking made with points and we need to pay in cash using their published rates. The general manager had no explanation for why they confirmed the reservation just 3 days ago and now changed their mind. We could have found a cheaper resort hotel if they had told us earlier. We finally paid cash for a superior room.

The hotel is located is a very noisy dusty neighborhood and has features worth mentioning:

You have to run hot water at full flow in shower as well as sink for at least 10 mins before it turns warm. What a waste of time and water ! The closet has a very bright white light which cannot be turned off and it shines thru 2 inch gap in the closet door. Hope you can sleep in a well lit room. Windows have thick layer of dust and are disgusting to look at. No natural light because you have to keep curtains closed. The first 3 start hotel I have seen that has no gym. We order pizza from room service menu which was like a sponge and tasteless. Breakfast was ok. Most of useful TV channels are blocked. Good luck if you want to catch up on day's new in English. The only 3+ star hotel in India that has no facility for driver The furniture is dated and dusty

Utterly pathetic service, today itself a few staff from my institution threw a weekend party at this place and the experience was downright disgusting. Incompetent cook, half baked chicken tanduri, and condescendingingly cold behviour is the least one would expect, but be sure this is what they are going to serve you. We reached for the dinner at around 8:30pm and placed our order within 20-30 minutes, I took them complete one and a half hour to bring up all the stuff on the table( I ordered plain rice and dal, and it was the last thing that they brought. Come on,even I, being a novice could cook it faster) . Then their staff(in the picture)had the audacity to tell us" Jo bhi hai ek baar order karo, abhi nahi banega" dude seriously!!😡 It was you who delayed it in first place. Similar stuff happened all through the evening and then one of our colleague lost his cool and asked the guy to call the manager to register complaint, a few other colleagues asked for visitors diary to register the complaint , but these folks refused to bring it. Finally the manager arrived and even he was not in a very good humor to register the complaint. And to kill it even further even the AC vents had leaky openings, seeping water near our dining place, it was all dirty and slimy in the hall. This, goes without saying that,this is our last visit to the place, and I would never ever recommend this...
