Nilam Hotel

A couple of days ago, on our way back to Rajkot from White Desert followed by Black Hills, I spotted this vegetarian restaurant on station road in Bhuj, Kachchh.

Since morning till 4 p.m., my wife, her niece, and I were starving because we could not get anything to eat at both the famous tourist places. We were desperately looking for a decent, hygienic place to eat something.

The only available item at the restaurant was Gujarati Thali (an unlimited dish consisting of hot chapaties, rice, lentil curry, varieties of vegetable curries, deserts, salad, chutneys (hot, spicy, tasty pastes,) papad (a thin, crisp, disc shapped, palatable edible item, roasted or deep fried, made from flour of rice or hulled black lentils called urad,) buttermilk (yoghurt in liquid form,) etc.

To our surprise, the food was delicious and customer service was excellent. The staff members were courteous, amicable, hospitable, and professional. The sitting arrangements and ambience were good, too. The cozy environment and tasty food exceeded our expectations.

All three of us were fully satisfied with the accidentally found restaurant in Bhuj, where we were told that we would not be able to find anything of our taste.
