Golden Tulip — Hotel in Gujarat

This hotel (if you can call it that) is your worst nightmare. Pictures speak louder than words. You can see for yourself. I booked the hotel through Goibibo which says this hotel belongs to the golden tulip chain of hotels; but I seriously doubt it. This place needs serious overhauling. The walls, ceilings, skirtings, biddings, furniture are all worn out. The room had a seepage smell and algae on the wall of the bathing area. I asked the manager to put me into the best room they had. They called it a suite because it has more space and a lounge chair; but it was worse than the room I was put in. The rooms don’t have any of the toilettes except bath gel and soap. The towels have rust and stains all over them. Even the breakfast is horrible.|Vijay Sharma, Manager is a soft spoken decent person; but I felt that either his concerns are not being taken seriously by the management; and even he is tired of it. ||My advice: please don’t be fooled by the golden tulip stamp. Spend another thousand and have a blissful stay at Binori hotel just...

Its horrible

Check in time was 12 I reached at aaprox 03:30 pm They said that i have to wait for half an hour as room was in cleaning process After 1 hour of wait the provide the room which was not properly cleaned Waiting for 1 hour with family after a 450Km drive its really uncomfortable And they even dint offer some water or drink

Now room is soo Bakwaas Not cleaned Some smell

Now BreakFast Rubbish and not at all eatable Quality is lower then lowest Hardly 2 items Found some unidentified thing in food may be----- So we left in between

@ 11:45 i received a call when i was driving to hotel for checkout They said me that after 15 minutes have to check out as we have to update in system

I was totally in mood of fight with management but due to family i ignor everything

Never Suggest any one one for staying...

If it is 1 night stay and location is convenient you can opt but there are better options available

The only advantage is this is on SG highway. Located above Mercedes showroom and it has a very long corridor Staff is courteous and gentle Breakfast offering is limited currently The rooms are not very big actually they are small Toilet blocks are also ok and WC position is very awkward. Bathroom cleanliness can be better and AC at 18 degree temp. Is also not sufficient The lift is very small and can accommodate only 2 people. I had booked seeing reviews and actual photographs but I did not find the actual photographs some where close to real There is road work going on in front and parking is also not very convenient and can pRk only 8 to 9 vehicles

Overall not worth...
