Be prepared for a mediocre experience. The first impression is a little sad as the carpet in the entrance/reception area is stained. Check-in experience is smooth and hassle-free. The room condition was decent though it didn't feel thoroughly cleaned, bed sheet and pillow seemed a little dusty and the room just didn't smell fresh.
Breakfast buffet menu is as good as fixed everyday with maybe 1 or 2 items being changed, so it does it boring really fast if you are staying for a few days. The taste of poha was very bland, sambhar on one day was literally looking like clear vegetable soup. Fresh watermelon juice was also stale, though it was kept in an ice bath.
The room service is really very very slow. 1st of all, there is no dedicated house-keeping speed dial, you have to go through the reception. Next, be prepared to give them 2 to 3 reminder calls as they will forget your request. There is no shower cap provided, only soaps are provided, for all other toiletries you need to request and remind them multiple times to send it across. There was another customer who was complaining for the same thing when they were a family with 2-3 rooms!
The in-room dining is also sad as the staff at night (11pm) is unaware of what is available, what are the costs (no menu was provided in the room) and they take 30+ mins for a simple sandwich.
The worst experience is to do with the locker. Our locker in the room was locked from before (it's always supposed to be open when we check-in) and we had to call multiple times for the reception to send someone who can resolve the issue for us. After that, the locker worked for a total of 1 day, before decided to reset again, this time getting locked with out valuables stuck inside!! I explained to the reception staff at night that I will be checking out early at around 8am, so please ensure someone can resolve at night or in the morning before 8am. They said there was no one who can resolve at night so it will be done before 8am in the morning. I waited till 9am the next day and after multiple calls from the room, had to speak to the staff in person to call their person urgently and resolve the issue ASAP. Someone then magically turned up 10 minutes later to open up the locker for us, finally allowing us to complete our packing and check-out.
Basically, apart from the location, this is by no means a 4 star hotel, so be prepared for a very very mediocre/average experience while paying such...
Read moreWe are here for a night, we came this afternoon (18th May 2022). The staff is polite, the rooms are spacious, however, the air conditioner is not upto the mark in the rooms. It takes too long to cool down the rooms. The food is good (ordered at lunch), the restaurant staff courteous and nice, adding real spice to the already scrumptious food. Location is good, straight ahead out of the railway station and next to a newly built mall.
18th evening: We had a dinner planned with our family and we came back to the hotel around 2330. We got a shocker in terms of the air conditioning. When the temperature is soaring to as high as 44-46 degrees centigrade, their AC wasnt pulling up the temperature from 27. After one hour the temp. became 25, we called the reception, a guy was sent upstairs to our room no 307. He walked in, saw the console and told us it will take sometime but the temperature will drop. At 3AM it dropped to 21 but we were still in unrest. We left for an early breakfast hoping the food might lift our spirits, however, disappointment seemed to be the theme of the day. To the pumped up empty stomachs dancing with yesterday’s exceptional lunch response we were left hungry and irritated as there was Bhaji, no pooris or paranthas, after waiting for 5mins we moved on with the other items on the breakfast buffet menu. The idlis were missing from their box and the herb potatoes seemed to have had an anaemic attack. We finally found a lone soul and requested him to get us some idlis. He obliged us and bought some at the table itself, but the coconut chutney turned out to be sweet while the tomato chutney turned out to be a take on siracha sauce. We waited to find the lone soul back on the floor but no one came, we gulped down the hope of catching a parantha or poori (considering bhajji in play) or an omlette or a dosa. Hence our tryst with this exceptionally virginal property came to an end and as we checked out and loaded our baggage onto our taxi the sweet smell of kachoris from a kiosk across the street filled our lungs with taste and our brains ignited with hunger…… 19th Morning: Though the property of Radisson other than this in Gwalior is not great either but atleast the morning buffet is a winner there and the rooms are etter in terms of air conditioning. Its a great debate where to stay next???? Kinda like damn if u do, damned if...

Spacious Rooms had a great interior and have a comfy bed everything is up to the mark except services eg. in-room dining, housekeeping, check out.
In-Room Dining:
one might need to call ones or twice or thrice for your order to get delivered at your room. I had to call twice or thrice each time for my five orders during my two-night stay.
House Keeping:
Pathetic - Hairs of checked out guests were laying on the bedside table, food waste was not been cleaned even after Even Room cleaning, it was just there as it is on the floor which was not cleaned even after a reminder. There were no paper napkins available with in-room dining foods.
Teabags and water bottles are not been refilled 2nd day even after the reminders, had to call housekeeping, front desk thrice for the same but no one had done the needful on time. finally, I had to go downstairs to get tea bags and water bottles myself. Housekeeping was like self-service, one needs to clean the floor himself/herself, one needs to get water bottles and tea bags himself/herself.
Fitness centre: A good neat and clean small Gym - Good for a couple of days stay but had to call front desk each time to switch on the AC and obviously one reminder call is always needed to just switch on the AC of the Gym and that too they will take back the remote control with them after switching on. You are not allowed to change the temperature as there is no control in your hand.
One has to take along the music as they won't help out setting up a music channel. basically, there was no active cable connection to the TV and not been sorted out even after a couple of calls.
Check Out :
Again Pathetic - No-one will ask for GSTIN, food and stay bill separation.
I had noticed that there was no GSTIN mentioned when the final bill was been provided to me whereas I have given my GSTIN at the time of check-in and also noticed food and stay bills were under the single invoice only whereas I have specifically told to separate it at the time of checking in.
They don't care about y food supporting bills, it was not been provided along with the final invoice finally I got them wasting my 12 mins in front of them.
They just don't care - money-hungry people.
IT CAN BE THE BEST PLACE TO STAY IF THEY IMPROVE UPON...
