We booked 3 rooms for 5 nights @ eco NK resorts via booking.com. We received an email from Aggarwal travel associates through booking.com asking us to pay in advance to confirm our stay. We paid 1 lakh Rupees (1300 USD) in total. When we reached the hotel to checkin, the reception didn’t have our booking. They mentioned that they don’t know any aggarwal associates. This is extremely weird because we booked via booking.com and there is no way anyone could access our details to contact us. We called the manager of NK resorts- Anthony and explained the situation. He said they don’t even have an account in booking.com and asked us to call the travel associates or booking.com and said there were no rooms available! Honestly at this stage it was extreme frustration as we had no other place to stay and as it was during new year week and everything else was booked in the island. We called the travel associate company many times and then he said there has been a confusion and apparently he had paid already NK resorts for our booking. He then finally spoke to the manager again and then the receptionist tells us that we can checkin!!! What a terrible place! We waited for hours and had paid such a high money and was clueless. The Manager continues to tell us that he has no idea about booking.com. And strange part was how did the rooms became available all of a sudden?
Pls be careful! They can do this to anyone! If we wouldn’t have stayed there and fought back, we would had to either leave the island or book another place! Something fishy happening between the travel associates and the manager!

Stayed in the cottage facing the swimming pool. Although the hotel is newly built it lacs in many areas No exhaust in the bathroom At a time where Covid Pandemic is on they provide sugar in a bowl covered with silver foil in the room instead of sachet. Internet connectivity is bad Servers need to be trained Hotel is running mostly with help of trainees. Intercom barely works Swimming pool has a lot of algae so u would think before you take a dip Bathroom taps need repair. Door knob was loose. No hairdryer in the bathroom There some cons as well Staff is extremely soft and polite with guests. Staff are mostly all rounders since they multitask in all areas. They provide room service after a couple of reminders. Room is comfortable Good hot water in the shower. Read moreI don't understand how this resort was rated as 4.5. Rooms are very compact, little damaged washroom walls, water got over twice during our 3 nights stay there. If it rains, water gets stagnant in balcony and not getting drained - can also see this in neighbour's balconies too. The rooms are readymade, just got installed and creeks frequently. Even a little noise from neighbouring room mates dashing the walls, floor or ceiling disturbs a lot. It is funny that we thought it was an earthquake on day 1. That's fine to have our room cleaned only if we opt for it, but it was disgusting that used plates/utensils kept outside the room were not taken away for 2+ days even when their staffs were roaming around. Staffs here don't speak English, they may understand but reply back in Hindi only which may be difficult to communicate. Welcome drink was available but not offered to us. Hotel is located in a very narrow lane which connects 3 hotels on its path including NK resort. We were stuck at the entrance for 10+ minutes when we were about to leave for a sightseeing and when their own (NK's) truck blocked the way.
