Nemo Cafe - The Beach Bar & Nightlife( Party Zone ) — Restaurant in Andaman and Nicobar Islands

After reading reviews and after being very confidently told by the manager that Nemo cafe new year party is the best in Havelock, we decided to go ahead, only to regret painfully later. Once we reached in evening of Dec 31st 2023, it was just 8 30 something and we saw long queues of people standing and waiting for their turn for self service food. Once we reached food counter, 80% trays were already empty and there was hardly anyone to be managing it. No one seemed answerable, when we caught hold of a staff or two, they showed a pitiable face without any answer. After a long wait, someone came to refill a dish or two, people pounced on it as if it was free ration on first come first serve basis. Boss, we have paid a whopping amount per person not to be treated like beggars. DJ was awful, whatever food we could get was tasteless and cold, could hardly eat anything. Having had enough patience, we went back to the entry counter where the manager was still collecting money from people before entry, told him the ground situation and showed him the videos of empty trays, We told him he betrayed the trust he had promised and asked for refund. He bluntly refused the refund and he called the F&B manager who accompanied us, served us some starters fret having them reheated. Somehow, we finished eating whatever we could and left by 9 30. The party felt so third class, not just bad food , awful and crude presentability also. Worst new year party ever attended. Guys, be careful of good reviews. We actually got conned because of reviews only. I know the owner will give an ugly or a defensive reply to this review… let it be. I just hope they learn the reality and improve...

The experience here was unpleasant to say the least. I have never seen such mismanagement ever. An amateur would plan better dinners than this. We were supposed to be picked up by 7:30 but the car came at 8 pm after our multiple calls to the manager. The place was near our resort so it took about 5 mins to reach there, but we waited 45 mins to be seated, despite prior bookings. Mind you this is a candle light dinner, supposed to be romantic and sweeping your parter off their feet. I would have been ok with the delay in seating if they had been prepared for dinner. The dinner was late and despite multiple calls the wait staff didnt seem to care about the delay. They were not even apologetic about it. There were several other issues like table setup was inconsistent. The place smelled like gutter. The dinner arrived at 10:15 pm. Our daughter was getting fussy and sleepy, so we left without dessert. None of the staff was apologetic nor were they helping the situation. Will not recommend at all. Worst experience here, i want to give 0 star to this, this cafe advertising on large scale of own property everywhere in havelock, on cruise arrival departure, on all beaches and etc. But in hindi नाम बडे और दर्शन छोटे But here is nothing to show 😕, this is disco cafe bar but no one doing disco , garden area full of mosquito and insects means no fogging done, if rain starts there is no arrangement for sitting other than open garden, lighting was very low, there was a setup for candle light dinner for someone and we request to take a photograph of this setup which was very beautiful but they refused all request and most amazing guest was not present. Now on food , very highly price food like as a 5* category hotel and food was tasteless third class , naan was like a rubber band , now worst part is all cutlery was highly wet, water was running on cutlery like dip in water and serve us , no one clean this only you will clean it , no bowls given for serving daal and veg.
