This place looks nice, but the staff and management are really unprofessional. My wife and I were celebrating our honeymoon and decided to go to this restaurant called "Bonova Cafe And Pub." The food was served by one of the waitresses, who at first was pleasant but kept giving us orders and making us feel uncomfortable. After that, we sat at a corner table and noticed that it was quiet, but then they brought in a large family. They have plenty of space at restaurants because it wasn't crowded at the time, but they placed extra chairs 🪑 to fit them in even if the table isn't for a large family of ten. We feel like we're at a local roadside diner.
We even had dinner at that time, and the waitresses used hand signals to tell us to move another table. We thought, "What kind of professional hospitality service does that?" for them to move or accommodate large family members to large tables when they didn't even place any orders—they just showed up, and we didn't even know how to get to our table! There were really terrible vibes while we were eating and spending some peaceful time together.
We still hope that the manager would notice or the waiters will let us know, but nobody shows up with polite service, so we decided to leave the restaurant and our ongoing supper, which was the worst experience ever. I now ask for the manager when I pay for my ticket and tell them everything, but they don't show us any courtesy or apologize for the inconvenience. I tell them that this is unfair to us and that I will report this to your management, so please give me your name and number, but they won't give it to me. When I ask the manager on duty for his business card, he says he doesn't have anything, even though he asked for our details.
Are we staying now? What hotel? Where did you come from? It puts us in danger as they don't provide us their name or business card. Therefore, they are quite rude and undoubtedly manage the business in a way that is unacceptable given the amount of money we spent here, making it unworthy of either the atmosphere or money. Since we are right there, I sincerely hope that someone from management will take note and verify the camera recoding. Hopefully, you get what I'm trying to say.
Anyone hoping to spend quality time with their significant other should avoid this venue. I've included a picture with the time and date to make it easier for you to record customer service. If you truly want to demonstrate your concern for customer service, take action. Time: January 26,...
Read moreA Culinary Delight at Bonova Café and Pub
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bonova Café and Pub for two consecutive evenings, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance set the stage for a delightful evening – warm, inviting, and perfectly complemented by the courteous and attentive staff.
The culinary journey began with a selection of Lobster, Tiger Prawn, and Yakitori Chicken, each dish a testament to the chef’s expertise. The seafood was incredibly fresh and flavorful, cooked to perfection, while the Yakitori Chicken was tender and rich with taste. The Thai dish I tried was equally impressive, offering a perfect balance of flavors that transported my taste buds straight to the streets of Thailand.
To cap off the meal, I indulged in the Chocolate Truffle Tower dessert – a decadent finale that was as pleasing to the eyes as it was to the palate. The dessert was rich, velvety, and the perfect end to a fantastic meal.
Overall, Bonova Café and Pub exceeded my expectations on every level. Whether you’re a seafood lover or simply looking for a place with great food and an inviting atmosphere, this is a spot you don’t want to miss. Highly...
Read moreThis should be the continental restaurant of the Seashell Resort, which itself is a lovely hotel. While the bar/cafe design of the outlet is nice (though the temperature is too cold due to aircon here), sadly our experience with the food wasn’t.
We had the Spaghetti Aglio Olio and the Mexican Burrito Bowl for lunch. The spaghetti were sprinkled with chili flakes, which made them taste more like some super hot Spaghetti all Arrabiata (this is DEFINITELY no Aglio e Olio). Surprisingly, even the Indian food we had before at the other restaurant had been less spicy. The Burrito Bowl was unfortunately seasoned with the chili as well. Other than that though, the food seemed to be of decent quality.
The staff did not ask us how we liked the food, otherwise we might have reordered without chili. Otherwise, the staff was very friendly though, and we have no complaints.
The Piña Colada was okay, however we ordered it less sweet, which it wasn’t. Unfortunately, no fresh pineapple was used for the preparation of the drink.
In conclusion, we were a bit disappointed by the dishes we ordered, and suggest go to the Indian restaurant, where we had a much...
