This is the new vegetarian restaurant in Havelock and probably the only vegan restaurant on the island. I went there for lunch as soon as I landed on the island since it's conveniently located near the jetty.
The ambience is airy and comfy. They have decent seating capacity.
They have a great menu but sadly most of the items I wanted were not available and at last I asked the steward itself to suggest me.
Veg Biriyani was served as per the steward recommendation and it was really good. Promptly I wasn't expecting it to be so good. The ingredients were generous and the taste was lovely. Kudos to steward for the recommendation.
The lime soda which I ordered to be only salted was served with sugar which was a let down.

Read moreWithout doubt , Best restaurant in Andaman for vegetarians ... Being jain we were desperately searching for a good vegetarian restaurant which do not only serves veg food but also tastes good. Our search ended at Vegan Life.
1st day we had to eat something light for dinner and mr rahul attended us and he served us aloo paratha with curd which was not in menu ...It tasted really great.
Next day we headed straight to vegan life and ordered paneer chatpata and it was awesome with so soft paneer . We also ordered zeera rice which was fresh , in good quantity and tasted really good.
We didn't get such good food in Port Blair as well.
Food is fresh , tasty and staff and owner are nice and warm.
Vegetarians holidaying in Havelock , head straight to vegan life and enjoy good food.
Big thanks to Rahul...
Read moreA restaurant which is overrated I would say. We veggies have fewer options so this looks like Haven but truly it isn't. The staff don't care. Once you are seated , the staff take their own sweet time to take your order. Then when it comes either the food lacks salt or it is salty. We ordered panner kurma and chapathi. While the tawa roti and butter roti was good, the paneer gravy was lacking a bit of salt that we added while eating. Then we ordered a navratna pulao , again it also was lacking a bit of salt. To go with the pulao, we ordered some cucumber 🥒 raitha , they took some time to get it. It was too salty. We asked the waiter to take it back, he went in and added some onions more curd and brought it back.
